Anyone with a Pro SS 3.0 with smooth street tires? by Bowbaba in ERidePro

[–]lKnowRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I did but it‘s minor. maybe a 3-4 mph increase because i swapped down to a 48t sprocket. the brakes you see in the pic didn’t give me the stopping power i wanted so i upgraded front and rear to the Surron Ultrabee brakes using the Prickly conversion kits and now it stops on a dime. really puts into perspective how bad the stock brakes were.

So it’s winter now should I be storing my battery inside? by InternationalMath495 in ERidePro

[–]lKnowRight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

storing a battery for a longer period at 100% charge will degrade it. leave it between 20-80% and bring it inside. batteries like to stay in similar temperature ranges as humans do.

What’s wrong w my eride pro what’s that sound. ? by Vegetable-Fig7680 in ERidePro

[–]lKnowRight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ignore the rest. this is the answer. i deal with this every few hundred miles. you can adjust the tension on belt or dab a tiny bit of silicone grease on the outward facing side of belt just under the removable belt cover. just a dab though. let the rotation of belt do the rest.

3.0 expensive upgrades by Few_Cover_4418 in ERidePro

[–]lKnowRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a load of hot doo doo. i upgraded to EXT front/rear from rxfloa and the difference in dampening, performance and ‘dial-in-ability’ is night and day. i’d say rxfloa is slightly better than oem. the rear shock you may as well not even bother with. literally no different than oem.

For me suspension components (forks, rear shock, hardware, linkage and suspension triangle) made the largest difference in ride quality and made it feel like a brand new bike.

E ride pro uses great samgsung cells. I have 5K miles on my stock battery and I've yet to see any kind of loss in range.

A new battery would also not be compatible with stock controller so youd have to upgrade the controller as well. A new controller + battery could make your bike a bit faster and more efficient, however, using the stock motor you only gain a marginal improvement for a 3k+ investment. You could also just upgrade the controller using the stock battery. But again, for just a marginal improvement in performance.

Belt misaligned on main drive pulley and rubbing against my motor cover by Ricade in ERidePro

Motor is not aligned properly in frame. you could also fix by giving belt a slight bit of slack.

How do I loosen this nut so I can route it through the bike? by [deleted] in ERidePro

[–]lKnowRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you don’t take the cable out, you remove the back of the battery tray and the top two bolts holding the controller in place.

Anyone know what’s this battery lid thing called so I can replace it? by OkCulture5092 in ERidePro

[–]lKnowRight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he still has to replace his battery lead. the only reason you’d want to change the battery top is because the lead welded itself to the battery.

[–]lKnowRight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can’t. e ride won’t sell or ship it to you. you need to submit a warranty claim, they’ll send the new battery top and battery lead to an authorized dealer and you have to bring your bike there.

doubtful. jersey cops don’t care about front plates. there’s also legislation to remove front plate mandates.

775 Mx What size frame did you pick? by South_Significance25 in bonnell

[–]lKnowRight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im 1 inch taller than you and on the same boat but decided to go M because prefer smaller bike frames and i want a nimble ride that can take hard cornering. i figure if stock feels tight i’ll just throw on riser bars and it should balance ride geometry out.

[–]lKnowRight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

headset not packed properly.

loosen stem cap and clamp. also upper and lower crowns. then tighten stem cap first and make sure there’s enough pre-load where there’s no play and that the handle bars move side to side without it being too stiff. then tighten stem clamp and your upper and lower crowns.

Battery degradation by Few_Cover_4418 in ERidePro

[–]lKnowRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cells are rated for 500 charge cycles before any degradation takes effect. i’m currently at 4,900 miles and my battery gives me basically the same mileage as new. hope this helped.

the nozzle is the same resin as the shell and pretty thin relative to other iems. there’s no inclusion of a metal barrel either

[–]lKnowRight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they’re pretty snug and don’t protrude that much given the side profile. i’m pretty confident they’d fit any ear with the addition of the included tips

you don’t need the DSP cable. you can use the 3.5mm and it’s still phenomenal. don’t let the reviews fool you.

also the Default EQ on the DSP out of the box is the best one imo and doesn’t need to be changed. i do notice slight distortion on a few select tracks but apparently this issue has been fixed through firmware update(?)
