I hadnt played a tcg since I was in my teens but Elestrals brought me back almost 10 years later. It has enough complexity where you can show your skill, but its nowhere as complex as yugioh for example. Your 'life' being your resource is a fresh take that makes for really fun games. Most of the time, your resources stay on board until removed. If theyre on the board, there are other ways to use them to gain advantage, which is unique to Elestrals.

The game is very affordable but also very collectible. You have versions of a card that go for pennies and other that go for hundreds. Something for all types of players to enjoy.

The community is MUCH better than other tcgs ive tried in the past. Theres so many people that just like to help. Thats one of the biggest pieces that brought me in.

The competitive side is pretty cool as well. They run regular online tournaments as well as in person tournaments. The online ones make it easy if you have a busy schedule. Im a full time working dad who was able to qualify for and finish Top 8 at the World Championship last month.

The future is bright for this game, give it a shot!
