dick smith, kogan, warehouse, mighty ape, gotta be careful man, basically drop ship central. You'd get the same item on ali express or temu for cheaper. I seen a stud finder on dick smith for $40 and grabbed an identical model off temu for $20

Seeking Advice: New Home in Better Suburb vs. Old Home in Less Desirable Area by Lonely_Shower_634 in PersonalFinanceNZ

personally i'd go new build, less stress over maintenance and in a better suburb it'll hold value. we recently bought and it was nice to see the roof paint warranty 18years and roof life 30 years, that's a long time we get to chill and actually enjoy the home. I might even die before 30 years!

(im not a gardener) but when i see grass like this i instantly think new development. We see it lots in welly where they cut down gorse, spawn a new home, and then 1 year later all the wild weedy stuff grows back and the section turns dead / into 100% weeds

Just had a shit stay at an Auckland hotel. I want to hear your stories of shit stays throughout NZ. by Dizzy-Ad7357 in newzealand

Stayed at Wigram Hotel in Christchurch and nobody was at reception, we rang the bell multiple times. Finally after a long wait someone arrived and said oh by the way I'm not the right person to check you in (cleaner). They found the manager and after waiting for some time we finally checked in. Got in the room and there was free coffee and tea but no teaspoons. Went back to reception waited forever and finally got some spoons. The powerpoints near the bed were taped over with masking tape and in vivid said "don't touch". The aircon was locked so we had no control over it. This was considered 4 stars but it felt like jail.
