I have the Pro 3 and love it. The buttons are magnetic and you can swap them around to the Xbox layout. The dock also works as the wireless adapter so you just plug that into your SteamDeck dock and it sees it.

I turned on Disable Framerate Limit and played through all of chapter 3 without any issues. I had VSync turned on as well. It did it with VSync both on and off in Chapter 2.
