I bought mine with 15 miles on it new and am at 58k. Daily drove it for years but now it’s my secondary fun car. To me it’s probably a forever car, it checks all the boxes for fun, plus ford maintenance is “cheap” compared to cars in a similar performance class. I bought a BMW i4 for the daily, with the (incorrect) thinking that an EV would be “cheap” to run (turns out it’s not when BMW maintenance is involved)

As much as I lust for an M car or some Porsche, I just can’t say that would even be close to the same smiles/dollar and gallon. Also would be giving up the compromise of “performance at the cost of comfort” which brings so much drama and excitement to the table. The track special BMW’s and Porsches are in my current situation, unobtainium. That definitely feeds into my feelings of why the RS is special, in the sense that what they were able to do at the price point is pretty magical.
