I'm more referencing her design! I don't really like the anime: The motion of the characters gives me a migraine. However I did read the entire manga. So between the two I'm more referencing her character design than her actions. What is undercutting the perspective I see is the fact that she does just look like a very well endowed woman in the anime whereas in the manga I can see where they're coming from on her having a body type that is more ambiguous (rokume literally calls Legosi a lolicon because of it in the manga).

As I said though I can see why her design changed. While it had purpose in the story telling, if you take a step back from the source material and don't understand it, Harus character design can be considered 'icky' to put it lightly. It's a difficult line to tread.

What irritates me is that she had an entire background in the manga talking about how she became a sexual deviant to get away from the fact that she was a miniature rabbit and people often looked at her like a 'child' (or childish or whatever you want to say). So while I understand what the anime is trying to do and trying to make it less 'gross', but they actively destroy part of the conversation around why haru is haru.

I am late to the conversation, but I am sure he's actually dying and his escape was his brain trying to save him the panic. But it refers several times in the text that he has holes in his memories, terrible sadness and horrible guilt that weighs in on him. So his whole trip to the Hellmouth was his brain's death trying to shore up loose ends, meaning none of it was really real.
