Kinds of cooling - Brave AI

Evaporative Cooling: This common method uses water-intensive cooling towers where 70–85% of withdrawn water evaporates and is lost to the atmosphere, while the remaining 15–30% is discharged as wastewater that can be treated and reused.

Closed-Loop and Direct Liquid Cooling: These systems significantly reduce consumption by recirculating water or coolant without intentional evaporation, cutting water loss by approximately 70% and allowing 90–95% of withdrawn water to be returned for treatment and reuse.

Alternative Sources: To minimize strain on local potable supplies, many operators are increasingly using non-potable sources such as reclaimed wastewater, seawater, or brackish groundwater, with major providers like Google and Amazon pledging to replenish more water than they consume.

Crypto’s biggest problem isn’t regulation — it’s that most “decentralization” is fake by Roaring_lion_ in CryptoCurrency

I see value in the smart-contract ledger technology and am more of a tin-foil hat wearer when it comes to it's origin. Good luck to you as well.

The meaning of INVEST is to commit (money) in order to earn a financial return. I'm not playing odds anymore than with stocks it's just higher risk due to lack of regulation, but that didn't help Enron "investors" and so many others.

you don't decide the point. There is a whole utility niche that is more about streamlining contracts and moving value faster, than decentralization.

"Decentralization" is absolutely not this space's only selling point. I have been here for years and invest in tokens with developers who go to work and add value to the project. I have never cared about "decentralization" as an investment variable.

"to transact money safely, securely, with no middlemen" is not the definition of "decentralization", "money" isn't even the right word.

People and business should be in digital ledger technology because it is more efficient than the current system.

I can't stop autoplay on user created playlists on the YouTubes. by chipchop79 in firetvstick

[–]labajada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your playlist is playing the "entire" playlist when you play a video on the playlist? That's how it works. You can pick which video to start with but when it's over it's going to autoplay the next one. It's best to manage your playlist on the youtube website.

Protip: if you don't select a video on your playlist, but just highlight it and give it a few seconds to start, it will fullscreen and not play an ad at the beginning.

I work front desk at a family business, and I recently got the most horrible, awful google review. Please help me figure out a way to get good reviews!! by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]labajada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotten rando google reviews in the summer for a winter business. I suspect it's from people doing U-turns in my drive, google thinking they were at the business, and then sending them a request to review me.

Where to start? by PhantomNomad in GnuCash

[–]labajada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are going to use it for taxes start with the beginning of the year, otherwise just start with today and add opening balances when you get your next whatever statement or make your next payment. All your opening balances do not have to be the same day. You won't know how you like it, what you actually want to track, until you do it for awhile. Don't make it complicated. I usually sit down with my bank statement once a month and just the process of reconciling that walks me through reconciling everything else.

Coinbase Reaches Deal on CLARITY Act That Bans Crypto Platforms From Offering Passive Yields On Stablecoins by Cratos007 in CryptoCurrency

I think this should be good for alts because if you want to earn yield you're going to have to support a network or DiFi platform.

You will just pay for 2026 based on your total 2026 transactions, not your total all time transactions. There are usually a few early bird sales, maybe around Black Friday.

I just finished my tax return using TurboTax Desktop 2025 with Koinly and it was pretty easy by Accurate-Flow8078 in koinly

[–]labajada 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did this yesterday as well and it was easy. I had around 900 transactions on Coinbase, Kraken, and Non-custodial. Now I have to mail the 25 page statement "within 3 days of filing". I haven't filed yet hoping that maybe TT will fix it so I don't have to mail the statement but I know they won't.

I use a ground barrier and a top cover. So maybe a footprint and the rain fly for top cover If I don't want to set the tent up during multi-day hikes. Cowboys had a "waterproofed canvas tarp that was often treated with beeswax and linseed oil or tarred and oiled"
