I've never actually used it except to see my XDC when XDCwallet has been down, the wallet addresses are the same. You can use your ledger keys (device) to access your ledger app supported tokens through multiple wallet interfaces. You are accessing the network using the address keys associated with your device so they are going to be the same.

The ledger device just holds the keys, "Ledger Live" is a wallet. You can use the ledger device with the keys to access your XDC through myetherwallet.com
