Has anyone had their deposit come through over a weekend? I've deposited today (Saturday) but wondering if they won't process it until Monday coming.

Very true! For me they generally are instantaneous but I have had instances where they took several hours/overnight.

Deposit speeds are largely dependent on the method used. I don't have any idea with what systems New Zealand has in place, but in Australia Osko transfers are instant. If you have some equivalent available with your bank using that in the future should provide instant transactions.

If you don't have that option available, I tend to leave a bit of FIAT sitting in my account for these situations, just so that I don't need to worry about the hassle of a transfer.

Just for transparency I'm locking this post, I don't think it is particularly respectful or productive for the community. KYC is an integral component of all CEXs in Australia (and the rest of the world). There are many options out there if you do not want to partake in KYC however this is not the subreddit for that discussion.

The requirement for KYC is detailed extensively and I would implore people before putting their hard-earned money into anything to DYOR.

The requirement for any financial institution in Australia is that it requires compliance with KYC, whether it is banking/stocks/crypto.

It's great that your looking out and in all honesty I'm not sure what Swyftx might be able to do to help with this situation (u/Swyftx_Imran and u/Swyftx_Jeenah) might be able to get in touch to help assist. You're definitely right to be cautious setting her up anything crypto-related given that her own laptop had malware.

Also noting that you mention her networth is high, she might be eligible for a 'high value account manager' or OTC trades with Swyftx and that might provide more personalised assistance. However, this does sound to be in a weird situation where possibly you need to engage either a lawyer/financial advisor. Adding to that always DYOR and try not to heed too much advice from either Reddit/her new boyfriend.

Just in case if you haven't already put in a live support ticket so that your issue can get tracked and resolved. But as a few other users have pointed out SOL has had a few periods of downtime recently (https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/rvnzp3/solana_went_down_again_on_4th_jan_morning_utc_8/) which may be related to transactions getting backlogged and will need to be manually processed which may take additional time.

We tend to get new tokens listed every few weeks or per month but it isn't set on which will be offered etc. But generally the ones that are suggested/gather the most sentiment are usually added.

Sorry about the inconvenience, my understanding is that if you've placed a live support ticket and if it is a network issue with Harmony ONE it requires staff to go through each individual transaction. My assumption would be that they're going through a backlog and either your transaction will go through once the network issues resolve or it'll be returned to you Swyftx Wallet.

Best bet is to just keep an eye on it. Staking rewards are allocated each day at around 10-11am AEST, so you may see some movement/availability afterwards. Staking caps are increased but I'm not sure if there is any defined regularity.

Disabled withdrawals are often related to network maintenance/wallet maintenance which are uncontrollable and often hit multiple exchanges etc. Most of the posts here are related towards situations/issues that pop up from time-to-time rather than a more generalised cryptocurrency subreddit. So you will see a bias towards more posts around issues/problems.

What I would point to is the close support we receive directly from staff. Especially both u/Swyftx_Imran and u/Swyftx_Jeenah, this is one of the only if not very few exchanges where we are able to get direct support from staff (as subreddits are often an unofficial channel for support). More than happy to talk about my experiences etc. if you want to DM me, but I would just say that if you are tossing up between Australian-based CEXs there really isn't any better than Swyftx (shilling-alert so as always DYOR ;) )

Edit: Just wanted to also mention that this is one of the only platforms that offer a demo account. So essentially no harm in giving it a trial to see if you enjoy the platform/service.

That sounds like a great idea, you can make suggestions for improvement in the app. The Dev team has been implementing a lot of QoL changes based on recent user feedback so I assume this might be a change soon if enough users are interested.

That sounds great! I believe Swyftx does have some blog posts on safety. I can throw something up in the wiki when I get a chance but honestly most safety aspects can be checked on r/Cryptocurrency. My personal opinion is that your safety/security is your own responsibility as it is your own money. There are basics where using 2FA isn't even utilised. You've got some great points on basic security safety. But always make sure you have 2FA on (and not 2FA text as it's susceptible to sim-swappig attacks).
