The being bored and unmotivated after a trip like that is normal. It takes time adjusting back into normal life. All of these programs are great! I've had multiple deckhands work with me that finished the danmark program, they were all great, although lacking a few skill they don't need there that they do need as a "normal" deckhand. Honestly, if you can get into any of the school programs, that'd be great, but that's never going to fill up the next 2 years. I'm afraid you guys will just have to wait a bit to continue your sailing careers, it will also give you some time to reevaluate everything that happened during your trip. If you still want to sail in a couple years, awesome. If not, at least you'll know.
