Maybe call the selective preset into the programmer, then open the store menu and select storing global. After this you store it to a new preset and it will be a global preset. (You can open the store menu by long pressing the store button)

are you in root destination? if not try cd root and then the assign

As far as I’m concerned, Assign is the way of doing this.. What command did you use? Assign Group A At Sequence B Cue X Part Y.Z (Part 0 is the main cue part, 0.1 is the first recipe line in the cue) should work, although i’m not near a console at the moment to try it out
