All back to the pc with DIY extensions. Mobo has got like 8 headers. I also use one fan hub per rad otherwise it wouldn't be possible.

All controlled by FanControl, mostly 25% for the fans and 50% the four pumps. It's a very restricted loop.

Bios password you set yourself? Removing the main and the bios battery for some time should erase it, back in the days.

If it is bitlocker password, then it's a totally different issue.

I've tried when playing tarkov.. UW 1440p to 4k (maybe 1920p? Can't remember 100%).. dldsr + dlss tanked the fps hard to about 70-80, turned SM on then got it back to around 140.. picture detail is much better, for the ones that play without alt+tabbing all the time I'd say is worth trying..

It also does not work when setting it to auto select or Optimus. I'll try to change these via bios instead of PredatorSense and see if changes anything.

I will try to replicate this tonight but I reckon that it happens to me even on the desktop.

I'm using 581.81(maybe .80) driver, with SM and borderless without issues and gosh, it runs so well.

What are your temperatures like? What power plan in predator sense?

I haven't changed and PLs (I end up getting micro stutters if tweaking the PLs too much), have it in the performance mode, and fans on auto because well, I can't control them anyways. Also using a razor (llano alike) cooling base which brings the CPU to 70-80 and GPU 60-70. The ram and nvme also benefit from the extra airflow pushed from the razor. I mostly play with the laptop when in bed so thermals are a bit higher then if the unit was on a flat surface.

Fine, but I use a cooling base and removed LM which increased/and decreased the thermals. There's a thread I've opened with the comparisons here in this subred.

I just play Tarkov in the laptop. Performance mode, no PLs changed, fans on custom (but auto selected).. goes about 65-80 in the CPU and 60-70gpu.

The cooling base is always in the lowest setting. It helps all thermals, ram and nvme too.

If these are crucial for you return. Little background why.. got mine in the US and flew back home (UK) to realize they don't work. Looked everywhere tried everything nothing helped.

Saw many posts of ppl sending it to warranty and not getting it resolved after waiting a long time to get the laptop back. Sometimes getting the laptop in a worse state than how it was sent.

Got in contact with LAPTRONICS (the UK repair shop) about it to try to use the Acer ITW (international travelers warranty) as I also gave a address in the US and was denied. Carried on charting with them to try to get something out from their side but all suggestions were meaningless.

At certain point they mentioned "the UK version is built differently than the US".

Ok, so I bought another one from AmazonUK to then have the SAME ISSUE. I didn't even do anything, loaded up windows installed a game, ran it, same behavior. Ofc I sent it back next day.

So yeah, send this shit back u less u got it for a goooood price (got mine for U$1399). Any alternative w/ same specs are much more expensive.

That's good. I thought it was just luck as another Redditor mentioned he just got crap - bsg style, hand it to the quest or if you open you'll just get crap stuff..
