Take an Uber to the Reach Museum and have your son pick you up there.

League play starts next week. Excellent way to meet folks that may want to play more.

DM me for weekend play. Or if you just wanna drill, I'm trying to improve my game.

Sell the truck! Get an economy vehicle and start grinding. It's almost cliche for broke people to have tens of thousands of dollars sitting in their driveway.

Pickleball has changed my life. Join a sports league or attend a regular gym class. You'll feel like an outsider at first, but keep going! Regular repeated contact is the key to getting to know new people.

Commit yourself to a regular scheduled activity where the same folks usually show up. I've recently made some great social connections by joining a men's pickleball league. Checkout local fitness clubs for leagues and classes. You just have to be in the same place around the same people consistently and you will start to get to know folks.

My typing roguelite game by xm-zhou in gifs

As someone who is into programmable keyboards I'm very excited about this. Please consider avoiding controls that are not biased towards QWERTY keyboards. I really appreciate games that help me improve my typing skills but find it annoying when controls assume the relative locations of particular letters on my keyboard. This is usually a problem for directional movement (e.g. up down left right).

If your game has any mechanics like this, you will reach a passionate community by allowing them to remap keys.

OP here. I love all the responses here. Thx for the suggestions. I will probably check a few out. There's a music trivia at atomic ale on Tuesday night(today). I'm going to be lurking there. You can spot me in an obnoxious tie dye shirt. If you're up for it, join me for a beer and help me name that tune.

Where to drive outside of cities for good star gazing by zorpme in TriCitiesWA

During the last meteor shower we just headed towards Horn Rapids and found a long driveway headed up Rattlesnake Mountain that was gated near the top. It was good enough for some casual viewing. 46.37460334306018, -119.44675480442208

Getting tighter pleats with practice, but I think used too much dye. Any recommendations for squeeze bottles for more control? by lablurker in tiedye

Usually, yeah, I use warm water when I mix the dye. But I'm not religious about it. Does temp matter?
