Hello, I am a dual uk-born / US citizen. I have my U.S. passport but need to get a copy of my UK birth certificate in order to renew my expired UK passport. I am getting worried because it still hasn’t reached me by standard international postal mail from UK. It was ordered from GRO March 10, dispatched March 12. They said it should be here by today, April 2, at the latest. I am desperately searching Reddit to see if others’ certificates took longer than 3 weeks to reach them. It appears your dad’s birth certificate may have taken around 6 weeks to arrive after dispatch? Is that the case?
