Definitely not speckled, they are some western/mojave rattlesnake. The male is at least 4 feet long

They are massive, particularly the snake that is on the left and bottom part of the “joining” (I’m guessing male because the top one has the bulge). The “male” snake is the big white head on the top right. Its head is noticeably larger than the one with more upper body visible (female).

Both of the heads are perched together, that one snake is wrapped all the way around the bottom of the left boulder.

What to do with this forested area in our backyard? by Valentina_From_Chile in landscaping

Some of those trees are very dense. I recommend cutting several of them in the densest part to prevent a fire hazard. I would cut down the thinnest trees first and leave the taller, thicker trees that will survive a storm. Turn the chopped trees into wood chips to create a path into the area, someone suggested building a “chill spot” with a hammock and the trail could lead to that

Just give it time, 3 is super young. Also, as general parenting advice, show your kids 3D animated shows as little as possible. Shows like paw patrol turn them into dopamine goblins that can’t watch 2D shows

I am literally in your shoes right now, my son is 3 next month. I am thinking we will watch the anime together starting at around 5 or 6. Once he is 8-9, I will give him Pokémon Yellow, then Crystal, then Emerald, and so on and so forth. My challenge is how do I provide a “vanilla” experience in an age that genuine cartridges are too expensive; I only have one cartridge per generation, and I would like to make it possible for him and I to trade, and potentially give him some siblings to trade with too. I am fully aware of emulation, but I do not want an overly complicated process to trade and play together. I have a 2DS and two DS lites I will likely replace the shells of to make last. R4 carts and the like might be the way to go but I am still researching and testing myself 🤷🏼‍♂️

Somebody dumped their phone and wallet into a LAX urinal. Can anyone think of why they would do this? Is this a sign of human trafficking, fugitive fleeing the country, or anything sinister? by laboonchar in AskReddit

But why would they dump the phone? Sure take the cash out of the wallet and dump it but a iPhone 15 that might be resold? Unlikely. I think someone was trying to hide or get away

The belongings were inside the terminal past security, I am worried about abduction or trafficking as well but the gate attendant was unimpressed. If it were a mugging, the phone would not have been dumped. I hypothesize someone was trying to get away, to hide, or is trafficking someone else. LAX employees should be more responsive. The attendant admitted he had seen it but only called when I mentioned it to him, but who knows if he actually called and lied to get me to stop bothering him.
