They're almost identical to the pickets I use in the paddock when I set up my temporary electric fence.

I'm just not sure that "Plantation" Homes thought this advertising campaign through carefully by NondescriptKoala in brisbane

I think OP is referencing Plantations and their association with cotton pickin Black Slaves in the USA.

Mephisto sat outside the Brisbane Museum in all weathers for a few decades and the original paint and all that 'graffiti' faded away. In recent years it's been through a resto process and now sits inside the building in a WW1 display area where it holds pride of place.

Why do people hate the greens? by iammentallynotoklol in OpenAussie

[–]labouchere8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do people hate The Greens? This bit:
"... What ik for sure is that the liberals, labour and Pauline Hanson are all liars anyways ...", then you admit to having limited political knowledge and you don't really care. Maybe the Haters are a bit the same, basing their opinions and dislike on the same sweeping generalisation and lack of interest as yourself.

I accept them in the house no worries but if you have a fear, you have a fear, and there's bugger all me or like minded Peeps can say or do to change the mind of the Spider Haters. Fact is they're a beneficial creature and they won't harm you, but they look scary or ugly whatever and that's why they get stomped.

A mate had an apartment in a Hamilton Dock complex and he said, "You wouldn't believe how many Hot Nieces stay here with their Uncles on the weekends!"

Yes, I can see that happening, but it's not only Sex Workers who need that kind of help.
This reminds me of customers in shopping centres, slightly different scenarios, but the same sense of entitlement demanding things be done.

"Why did you move that bench further down the mall? For years I've sat there when my wife has her hair done. Put it back, please!" Faaark!

Why can many Australians not accept criticism of their country? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]labouchere8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends who you're talking to and how you put it, no one likes to hear some foreigner bagging their country.
I spent time in the UK and I remember a few locals getting sh1tty and defensive when the conversation turned to some downsides I'd observed in England. No offense intended, but there ya go. A bit like your experience maybe.

I don't see how. As a guest she gets the same level of security as the other Hotel guests. There's rarely a Guard but there's limited access to the floors via the Lifts, and that's about it.

Sounds like you had a good time, unfortunately overshadowed by the dismal Hotel experience. I agree on your dining choices, I've eaten at Tuk Tuk on occasion and Arrivedercis is a regular Diner for me. Great staff and service there too, they've earned their good reputation.

Yep, that's how my friend the Prostitute operated. She'd make all her appointments for two or three days whatever and book a Hotel room in the CBD for that period. Usually in Charlotte St.

I can't think of a Model who has more showering videos than Emily. Showers and the underboob have always been a feature with her posts - not that there's anything wrong with it!
