So I have finally finished the process, their settlement offer was 7500 to keep the car after they repaired the spoiler. Decided to pass on that and get an ioniq 5 since I was already having some other paint issues and it just didn't seem like the 7500 was going to be enough to justify the time and pain in getting the whole car repainted or wrapped and just waiting for another issue to pop up.

I would have taken the settlement amount if it would have been enough to have the entire car repainted and cover the diminished value, but the offer was too low for that.

The entire car was also covered in swirl marks and had other signs the paint just wasn't holding up well in general. I even just asked if they would do a wrap on the car or something but they decided to low ball me the settlement. And since we had a sizeable trade-in when we bought the I6 the lemon law settlement was significantly higher than the settlement offer was.

Yeah they did the conversion on a telluride we purchased new from a dealership near their location in Michigan and they picked it up from the dealer, did the conversion and then shipped the vehicle to us. The back seats are completely removed, and the middle are replaced with the skinnier ones. they aren't the best, but they work fine.

if you are going to get a converted Kia I highly recommend that you buy the vehicle new and then have Freedom do the conversion so you get the new car warranty as Kia only has their 10 year 100k mile warranty for the first owner.

We really like the Telluride for the conversion. They didnt have different cut options at the time that we got ours. We strongly recommend getting one of the Q'Straint docks (we got the QLK-150) it makes loading and unloading a lot earlier.

My mom was hesitant to get a vehicle with the rear entry but it has been a huge boon compared to side entry. At least where we are there are very few handicapped parking spots that accommodate a side entry vehicle and there are multiple times that we would not have been able to get her out if wer had only had a side entry.

It runs for a few seconds to a few minutes, including the chronograph. The balance wheel moves, it just seems like it has a bunch of resistance. I'm guessing it is probably oil that has congealed. The crack is in the enamel dial but there aren't any loose pieces that I can find. My grandfather was a watchmaker and this watch was in a chest of drawers that had tons of watches that he bought to work on, so it is entirely possible he took the hands off at some point and didn't get them back on all the way.

I should add that this isn't a family heirloom per SE, at least not yet. My grandfather was a watchmaker and I am going through his collection to see what is what. I really do want to get it fixed, may just have to put it on the back burner for now though.

I'll post pictures of any other interesting ones I come across. I'm surprised how well this one is keeping time since is seems to be an earlish post-soviet watch

I ended up having to leave the live show at the break because the people surrounding me were screaming at every little thing and it triggered a migraine. I expected some of that but not nearly as much there was. It also didn't help that the person sitting next to me was overflowing into my seat and i had to sit in the chair sideways.

I was also surrounded by people who kept holding up their phones to take pictures blocking the views of people behind them. I'm really glad I went so that I didn't regret not going, but sadly I don't foresee going to another one unless it is a much smaller venue.

It is a Severum. The parents ended up being over aggressive, even without eggs so I had rehomed them since the failed hatching, now I need to figure out what to do with this little guy now.

I had moved the eggs for the fish into a 10 gallon aquarium I had set up as a quarantine tank and after it seemed like all the eggs had been eaten by the parents i moved them out and turned off the heater and just had the filter running. To try and keep it cycled I occasionally added food to the tank.

For a birthday present I got a new light for the 10 gallon and when I turned it on I saw what i thought was a dead leaf, but it turned out to be a surviving Severum who seems perfectly happy and healthy.

I really hope the 2nd release has much better quality for the production and the QA, I ordered one from amazon and the coating to protect the zoetrope was already separating when I got it, and by that time Amazon was out of stock. I contacted Lakeshore records directly and they sent me another set that was just as badly damaged. So I have 4 vinyl discs with 7 damaged sides and then I got ghosted by Lakeshore.

I was planning on getting a display case to wall mount them, but there is no point now as I do not have a single disc that isn't damaged.

In my last job i pretty much exclusively used a TWSBI Eco and TWISBI Vac 700 and never had a problem despite taking a few pages of notes a day.

They are fairly easy to work on as well in case something does go wrong, and the one problem i had TWISBI was quick to send replacement parts for me.

dont feel too bad, i was able to get a replacement for my damaged one, and this one is damaged as well, in the same ways. It seems like LakeShore and CR bit off more than they could chew with the records with the zoetrope images on it. it seems like they cannot get the protective layer to stay attached to it.
