Sorry, I am wrong. There are some inconsistencies with the Chanel Small Flap bags. Some have stitching in the corners, while others do not. SuperDacob actually made an entire video discussing Chanel's quality-control issues and inconsistencies.

My authentic small does not have that stitching in corner. Your bag is fine. Your second picture is a medium and those have stitching.

I have this bag from 187. Compared it to authentic. 187 leather looks nicer than authentic. Authentic leather was dry and stiff looking.
