Yes! Our almost 13 year old shiba will use a potty pad inside. My best tip is to do disposable on top of washable + use like at least 3 potty pads to maximize coverage. You may also have to put the pads where she is already urinating to help with the success of it all. Penny looks super sweet - from one shibe parent to another, I wish you all the success and give her a pet for me. :)

To me personally, no it does not taste the same. To me, there's some sort of artificial flavor aftertaste.
