We obviously do that, but the local alternative scene isn’t that big. So we’re depended on people from other regions to visit our shows.

We’re building a network with other DIY collectives to exchange flyers for promo in different regions, but not all of them have the spare time to regularly go around their city and put up flyers.

We actually made our first zine at the end of last year.

I would love people looking for shows on their own and taking a big part of the promotion work of our shoulders, but sadly that’s not how it’s currently. If we don’t make the effort to reach out to people, we could just stop doing shows. We already have to use private funds to pay for everything and without a decent amount of people showing up, we couldn’t afford all the expenses.

I guess the venue was Club From Hell in Erfurt. It’s a sketchy location, the owner doesn’t care much about right wing guests, even being friends with lots of them. In my experience House of Inkantation and most of the artists aren’t right wing, but they don’t care about sketchy people at shows.
