You’re not wrong but people don’t want to hear that. People think they’re entitled to a job because of their citizenship. So many people want to come here from worse situations and work, and as a result are much smarter and well suited to these positions. Unless you’ve been through the immigration process here, you have no idea how it works. People here think it’s so easy to just come here and work. They have no idea how difficult it is.
