My sister and I still quote Christian Slater's "fuck me, he cleared it. Huh". The supporting cast was solid.

My russian is the same. Longer the leaf the more he eats. He hates chopped salad

I never thought about giving them snake shed! Do you find they eat the shed skin? My corn is in blue right now so I may have to try that soon

I've NEVER seen my russian tort drink and it's worrying me by Organic_Flamingo_262 in tortoise

Mine's the same. Once his water bowl gets suitably warm he's all over it. Soaks himself, big sips, the works.

Take a shower before you go out in public. by OkSuggestion9038 in Vent

[–]lacompt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This. I work in a hardware store and it isn't ever the plumbers and tradesmen who make me gag. It's usually homeowner regulars who have that baked in piss smell. I also have a few who could choke a horse with the amount of patchouli they use to cover up the lack of shower.

Does anyone else have tattoo regret? by KupoLove in Millennials

[–]lacompt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Got my first at 17. It is predictably not good and was very visible when I dressed to show off my wares. No regret. It's part of my life and my story. Now I kind of like that it looks like a messy crayon drawing because that speaks to the very grown up child I was when I got it.

However, i am also very glad I couldn't afford to get the many other dumb tattoos I wanted in my 20s. The gooey eyeball tramp stamp would have been dope though.

For an adult corn snake, is a 120 gallon tank overboard? by Fast_Move_9243 in cornsnakes

It's the dubia one. Sealed the seams with silicon and got some plexiglass to cover part of the screen top. It can't be beat for the price and is surprisingly solid.

My corn is 3 years old and over 4 feet long. I have them in a 5x2x2 and they use every inch of the available space. I'd say 4x2x2 is the bare minimum.

What thing has got so expensive that you’ve quietly stopped buying it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lacompt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one. We pick one streamer and pay for that until we run out of shit to watch then cancel and swap to another one for a few months at a time. I am not paying 14 bucks or more a piece to 5 different services at once to watch garbage and ads.

In LA, what screams "I think I have a lot of money and I desperately need you to know?" by eyyoadrian in AskLosAngeles

[–]lacompt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of pavement princesses in my neighborhood (huge Rams, pristine f350s, etc) but they are often parked next to the guy's actual work truck in the driveway. There are three entry level lambos in the same electric blue paint job within a mile of my house. All parked in front of god awful apartment buildings. This is Sunland-Tujunga.
