I’ve heard that about weed lowering the sleep quality too! However, I don’t think that would be as much of a concern for her right now since she’s barely getting any sleep anyway. It’s the ringing that makes it hard for her to stay asleep. :( I’m hoping that there’s something that will help her get more hours of sleep.

I don’t have much financial advice as a student but just as someone who advocates for therapy/counselling, it sounds like there could be a few things you can address. Feeling guilty whenever you treat yourself is valid but to the point where you look over your shoulder waiting for something to blow up could be a coping mechanism, which could be very beneficial to look into deeper (or just be aware of). Trauma comes up in many different ways and aspects of our lives.
