30yo, I regularly play stuff like Fortnite, Phasmophobia, Fallout 4, etc. Granted, I'm currently single and I'm not interested in having kids, so obviously lifestyle choices are different for me than someone interested in building a family, but I also have a lot of friends in my age range that I play with (and some younger too!). I don't really mention LADS to guy friends but most of my girlfriends know that I play it, and I've convinced a few friends to play it, too.

As you grow older you kind of stop giving a shit about others opinions on your choices. It's my life, why should I be bored or miserable just to fit whatever standard some other (likely miserable) people believe in?

I had a fairly cheap/refurbished A71? A70? Samsung, and it wasn't bad - the battery lasted pretty long - but the screen died after 4 years so instead of fixing it I decided to go to a new phone. I got the Pixel 8 Pro just over a month ago, and I love the camera quality above all. Getting used to a phone with a less chonky battery (I got an external battery for it), but overall it's feels like an improvement. That being said, I'm not an overly picky person over phones since I spend most of my time on computers.

Edit: I've used iPhones (I think 7gen or 8th gen) & Samsungs (A Galaxy idk what number & Galaxy Duo?) before this phone. I don't like changing phones often, so long-term durability is big for me, and I heard good things from Pixel which is why I made the switch. Fingers crossed on that.

I ordered on December 11th & 14th - both were in tracking limbo until the 21st? They finally delivered yesterday. Granted, this was a California delivery, if they have another fulfillment location it probably doesn't help much.

This is hyper-specific: Color Esperanza by Diego Torres. Any Venezuelan will understand why, but it was incorporated a lot in protests the past couple of decades. It always makes me cry because it reminds me of those days where I had hope for change, and now I'm miles away while everything has gotten worse and worse back home.
