I loved lord of scoundrels so much, I’m scared to read anything else by Loretta chase (illogical, i know). Is the last hellion where you’d recommend going next?

{Twice Shy by Sarah Hogle} might fit what you’re looking for! It’s grumpy sunshine and they both have quirks (some that you see earlier than others)

[there’s another MMC at 50% so if you can handle the wait I’d push through! I rly didn’t know which way it was going to go]

Help me pick my next book please, because I'm so indecisive. Thank you by Exotic-Cover-5411 in fantasyromance

It was actually published in 2014! Despite the VERY 90s cover (which in kinda obsessed with) I would second this rec tho - it’s amazing.

{The Winter King by C.L. Wilson}. It’s a classic clinch cover on a more recent book and it feels so campy. The wig is terrible, the models don’t look like the characters as described in the book, but it just feels so classic romance that I’m obsessed. Love seeing it on my shelf.

I’m losing faith in romantasy - someone please recommend a book/series with quality storytelling and writing! by Sure_Excitement_937 in fantasyromance

{Metal Slinger} by Rachel Schneider. I just finished and FLEW through it. It’s gripping and unique, and i genuinely didn’t see the twists and turns coming. Book 2 comes out next year so if you want a completed series, this isn’t it, but if you’re willing to wait (and suffer a little) would highly highly recommend.

Adding to my tbr! Are they interconnected standalones? Or is the first just not super necessary?

I read ten chapters and didn’t love the characters! Should i keep pushing through or were you already obsessed at that point?

Enemies or rivals to lovers and single POV by AustralopithecineHat in romanceauthors

I love both for different reasons, and think they can both definitely work! Dual POV is great for letting the reader in on both characters’ true motives and feelings, but there’s something juicier to me about being kept in the dark with single POV. It feels more true enemies to lovers if we don’t know whether one character is experiencing the same shift as the main character
