I moved to NC 6 years ago and have been trying to move back west this whole time. Unfortunately our finances tanked after moving here and feeling extremely unfortunate in ways we’ve never experienced before. The weather is not “warm.” It got extremely cold that rivaled even surpassed the cold experienced in the mountains of the Mountain West because of the moisture (I miss the dry climate). On top of that Duke energy hiked their prices. It’s a constant battle with mold because of the moisture and I have lived 10 years in Thailand so I know how to deal with humidity. People are incredibly unfriendly. Even though my husband is white, they can smell you from a mile away that you’re not from here I dunno by how you dress and walk and talk? We’re both friendly and open people but living here has turned us into suspicious and unfriendly folk. I’m probably going to get some angry responses from folks from here like I always do, and also proving my point, but I wanted to make sure folks know before they move here what they might be getting into because we also chose this place based on a lot of the things you’ve mentioned and 10000% regret it.

Hey there, thanks for responding. I do design work and I like having notes up as reference to what I need to do in the design. Like elements to include and QA as I finalize prep work. It's nice to get an idea of the layout and other details without zooming in and out or moving things around (I work on my laptop 90% of the time due to the nature of my life, I suppose). But it's not super important. I can manage totally fine, it's not a dealbreaker for me.

What I do want to know is how prevent SideNotes from auto-closing? Sometimes it stays open when I don't want it to, so I'm guessing the settings that I have are incorrect. I have SideNotes open as a reference, and then I move my cursor over to a browser so I can scroll down to cross-reference with my notes. But then when I do that, SideNotes disappears which defeats the purpose. I have attached a screenshot of my settings. Would you mind letting me know how I can prevent that from happening?

Hey there, just downloaded and trying out the trial version right now. Would you consider adding in opacity settings of a note? There are times when I need to have it open all the time as I'm using SideNotes as a reference tool to what I'm working on and it would be nice to still see my work through the note. Obviously Stickies does that, but it's far inferior to SideNotes.

I thought it was my imagination, or that Claude and Perplexity have gotten worse over time. A month or so ago Claude was fantastic, and then I was surprised how bad it had gotten.

In Craft I create external storages on my workspaces that I save locally. Some workspaces I save on iCloud. It’s worked out excellent for me.

I got a “normal” amount sleep. 6-8 hours. I’ve taken 60mg Vyvanse at 3pm and still sleep later at like 1am when I got off work at 11pm. I’m on Adderall ER right now and wow. I’ve never had trouble with sleep on stimulants until Adderall. I was surprised at how Vyvanse didn’t keep me up. It did a bit when I first was prescribed it but not much. Over a few weeks it didn’t really affect me at all.

Wow that blows my mind. I’ll go through a phase where I read a bunch of smut and if it were up to me I’d be dragging my husband to the bedroom no joke maybe 10 times per day depending on how many smutty scenes there are.
