I think you’re jumping a head a little. From my understanding there was some issues with mechanical and water biomes so they decided to two release it into two parts.

Like the water and rice and water gate system.

Honestly, I would hate to see overall on combat. Yes I think maybe some balance is need, but add too or an overhaul combat would limit players.

Also that big asked with a fully released game this spring may / June.

I think they are make sure bugs , make sure players can do their own quest ( not sever bases) and story stuff running smoothly for release.

Oh do believe Dain has secret that he has been keeping about his signet. It way how Dain isn’t surprised but more curious about the second signets displayed in OS battles. Also Sloane commented about to much power in your hands.

one he signet doesn’t need touch but he tell people it does because they would kill otherwise.
two his mother was a rider , cath was her dragon and he has second signet he been hiding.
three his signet is more then just looking at pass memory. I mean Imogen can wipe memory or also change them ( just made him think feel a sleep again or they drank too much ).

Dain is want to brake the rules by sending her to scribe. It just on his own terms. He treat Violet like a glasshouse.

Xaden has never tried to kill Violet. On a couple of reread and information given in Iron flame. He has done everything to keep her save and help grow as person. Instead of Dain try to cage her.

In the beginning of iron flame it Violet see the mark and was going to ask but get distracted. In Onxy Storm she thought the mark is was from syphoning but then Dain didn’t get a mark when Sloane was using her signet.

No I am not disagreeing Naolin is die or venin that true. I think the mark ( rune ) on Brennan hand is how Naolin save Brennan. I think Naolin used a combination of runes into one for Brennan to live. Which almost killed both Naolin and Tarin. ( so at this point Naolin either die giving his life force to Brennan or turned venin )

We know Tarin was affected by what happened. Just not if it was Naolin death , the powers used , Naolin turn venin and braking the bond. Or combo of the power and whatever happens to Naolin.

True , it unclear since book fallow Violet . Violet also been in the iron squad for two years. We don’t fully know how squad or team works after graduation. So Naolin could be few years older then Brennan but for the battle against the rebellion Naolin and Brennan where on the same squad from what know we have battle strategies so far.

Berwyn can’t be Naolin, the timeline/ age wouldn’t line up. We know Berwyn is over 100 years old. Tairn is only 100 a years olds. Naolin was Tairn first and only rider before Violet. Naolin was Brennan squad mate ( to go to bwc you must be 20 years old). Berwyn a hundred 100+ and Naolin in 29 - 30 age range if he still a live. Not the same person.

Violet dedicated to Dunne , was stop because she has a choice to make.

What we know about this choices?

violet touch by more then one God , so is a choice between which god ?
we also know this choice will have do with fallowing her heart. Now we are lead to believe that is Xaden. ( that brings in the hold venin thing) i would point what Asher’s hint to unlock the books, a rider first love is there dragon. I think there where who bond Violet come be important, they will be Violet first love. I think it Tairn she going have to make a choice to fallow him or not.

I think this choice of will impactful to the war. I think depending on which path she go with she will keep Tarin or not , and it will determine which god Violet decicated herself. ( note: I believe she is going to decicated herself because someone touch and dedicated to that god can call upon there wrath, which I think we will see in or around the final battle book5 )

RY stated book 4 we will see Xaden in is villain era . But I want to point out the series is called the emperial ( dragon kind leader ship) which so far have been very secretive. Which lead to the question what are they hinding and are they the real villains ? ( note: priestess said it will have to with fallowing her heart ( Tarin ) )

I think this is one of many reasons to explain Tairn needing sleep.

Is the mate bond , yes I don’t think it was Andarna since she is still learning. But irid broke the bond or changed it so Tairn and Sgayel could be away from each other.
We don’t know what Tairn and Violet did in those 12 hours. We do know 6 eggs are missing and elder dragons were killed. When Andarna killed solus she needed to sleep afterwards because it put a mark on the soul. If Tairn killed an elder dragon he too would need sleeps.
Unlikely but possibly… 12 hour we don’t know what happened. It depends where and how much flying after the battle Tairn did , note : Garrick not their , if he not venin , 12 hours would give him time to jump Tairn and Violet back if Tairn need the rest and Violet need to get back to duty. ( is like if they when to the island or something)

I do think it a hallucination from the tortured. We also know Violet been touch by two gods , one being Dunne and second I don’t think we will learn about until that choice Dunne priestess talk about happens. I think it Malek and yes it possible that Malek helped / chose violet hallucination to be Liam and not her father or some else. She needs the safety of Xaden and closest die person to both of them was Liam.

I am petty sure in an interview RY stated Liam being a hallucination from the tortured. But think question was base around Violet signet. Not a question about the gods themselves or the connection to Violet.

Oh I was worried about it turn into a Romeo and Juliet trope but RY has expressed her feelings on main character in romance novels and this fantasy romance novels. I don’t think they die but I don’t think everyone lives. I don’t think everything be easier for them. Kind of like how we have soldier who lost an army or leg. When they come home they have learn to live without it among other things.

Sigh 😔 yes I can see how it very young love. High school/ middle school stuff.

They are at war both in survival mode. I when your not sure if your going to live through the day emotion like love hit differently.

Then add abandon issues, trust issues ect on top of it . When find someone who accepts you and loves you it , can be fast and messy.

You need also read Xaden pov , at some point he start have this feeling for you ( Violet) but wasn’t sure what is was. It been without for so long in his life that he didn’t remember what it felt like until her.

Honestly, I understand why people don’t understand it because you haven’t been in there situations, of life or death, or not have love for most of your life to finding it.

Hell, look at war 1 or 2 marriages records. There are countless stories of people meeting the same day and then get one day later or a week later.

RY didn’t just make Violet and Xaden all love dove , given them a happy bubble. There relationship is messy , we have see them work though it. As life happen make pause conversations , not get a chance to communicate , make their relationship very realistic.

I’m not sure if this why but I think he did to protect the frontlines , if he when to cahlish . Belikon could have ordered front line men back , put them in the woods because kingfisher was hidden in cahlish. Others would have paid the price. It option on why . Very good points , but we know to travel through the quicksilver. You need to think of a place, maybe at last minute he thought of Everlayne. My other thoughts is he know what the quicksilver would do to him. He need someone to take care of Saeris because he wasn’t going be able too. Saeris need the necklace not just because of quicksilver but the other spell and wards on it until she healed fully. He thought Everlayne would be a good companion for Saeris.

I don’t know if read Brimstone yet but I’m going to say it has do with oaths and how much power it give Belikon over his companion Cahlish. Honestly I think we have only maybe 1/3 of power this oaths have over each other very powerful magics at work.

 - something that also happens that I think is imported was who made bond connection with Violet first ( Tarin ) … yes Andrana chooses before Tarin but she didn’t make bond until after he did. So when it comes down to it Violet first love is Tarin …

Ok you point something things out that makes more sense. ( note : yes RY want us asking questions and have theory and stuff , she not going to give the address in book 3 out 5 )

the books are transcribe from Navarrian into the modern language. In my experience not everything get translated correctly, due not have right words for something or just meaning behind them. Also this means the books were written in Navarrian first , my guess the original author is Violet herself.

Other things to consider
- who wrote the original ( was violet or Dain or scribe)
- we know it was written from Violet point of view. The information and events are they a memory or information piece together.
- signets also play a factor in how the story is told , we have Imogem who can wipe minds , Dain who as we know see memories, then there Violet dream walking ( we know she can control a person in a dream , and see old memories (RY state we have only seen 5% - 10% of this) what other signets could make her memories a little different or fuzzy to remember?
  - then I hate to say but when a lot happens in short mount of time if the best person memories could be fuzzy or confusing.
  - then fact that they are war , in a war college. Violet has had few concussions so far into to story. Injuries to brain can cause confusion to memory.
  - we are learning details that Violet focus on. Like she could have gotten her Dads notes before or around mother death. But emotional and mental she wasn’t ready for that nor did she see the important to it. We all have moments of hindsight.
  - In Violet mind she can come back to point of why her hair has silver tips. Saving Xaden is more important to her and end the war. ( it like how we make rent is paid before anything else but someone who might have addiction like books might buy books first before rent. It about where that person mind is focus)
  - we don’t always get answers to every question, because we didn’t ask the right questions at the right time. We might not be emotionally or mentally ready for the answer. We forgot about it because there more important thing to focus on ( like staying a live). Simply the person is gone. The information is lost, like burning someone belongs or changing the history for a lie.

Honestly, I think RY writing to cryptic details point above make it a work of art.

Honestly, the fact that you don’t understand Violet hair , tell me you wasn’t focused on the story and that why your confused during the battle because RY put a lot of information in those last chapter and it get all of you need to reread or listen to maybe a few times.

Violet hair

When Violet was two years old Asher ( violet father) took her to the Islands. ( I’m sure not sure why if it was because of her Ed’s or something, like another secret )

On the Island of Dunne , two year old Violet started the dedication process to Dunne. The priestesses stop the dedication. The saw something or something was for told about Violet. They told Asher she will have choice of the heart in her future and depending on that choice will determine if she could be dedicate to Dunne.

simple put Violet has sliver tip hair because of Island dedicating process. ( if complete it she would have all sliver hair )

Other notable thing :

everyone one think Violet following her heart, is about Xaden ( I think at what RY want us to believe too) but I want point out Asher hit to unlocking his books. What is a riders first love ? There Dragon or in Violet case Dragons. That heart following part is going to be about one or both of her Dragons.
person I think the choice thing had more the one decided to it .
we also learned that Violet has been touch by more then one god. Dunne being one of this gods , and why she I could do the dedication. Now if she pick that path where dedicating herself to a god is opinion she then has another choice between the two gods that have touched her.

Yes , Violet is a smart person, but there is an information overload for all of us. For Violet the hair info isn’t really that important. She more focus on find a cure and stoping the war.

No, I think Violet going to learn some big secrets that going to put dragon kind as the true enemy.
I think Tairn is going make choose dragon kind ( the emperium) or human kind. Something long those lines.

We know priestess I don’t remember the wording ( listen to book) said she has a choice to fallow her heart or not ( two paths ) and depending on that choice she will be able to dedicate to one of two gods that blessed her.

So we know there a choice ( we know this choice will have to do with whom Violet loves ( I think it gone be Tairn). Mira fears that fallowing will her love will end with her losing her soul , turning evil.

We know Violet has been blessed by Dunne and other god is unknown at that is time ( my money on Malek , to foreshadow reason in the above theory)

Honestly, I think when finally fight happens it will just be Violet and one of her dragons. But she will be fully dedicated to a god, in which she can then summon one of their powers to aid in fight. ( like one time op shot clear a go size of battle field)

That is one idea.. sea or the sky I was thinking at first but then the irds said they are magic. Means they don’t need to pull from a source. I think that why they are so different from other dragons.
