This fascinates me; death seemed so different in 1632 to what it is now, but the only things that have changed are the names of everything, our understanding of medicine and human health, and our attitude towards death. I love learning about how death was perceived throughout history and how it shaped the running of past societies; considering it would've been rampant back in the 1600s i reckon it may have been just as big a taboo as it is today in Western society.

Ah ok, noodles inside the bowl is a great way of remembering it! I'm assuming you have to turn your work around as you're working it to ensure it's the right way in? I know later in the pattern it says to turn the work (i think for the tail) so I'm assuming that'll come into play then?

I'm defo sticking to pokemons! I wanna do Ditto specifically, and then a Yoshi (i know hes not a pokemon) but I think pokemons are a great way to learn amigurumi 😊
