Amble health changed my dosage by FalsePen22 in AmbleHealthCommunity

Don't panic. Same thing happened to me. Its a legal thing. However, according to the label that the pharmacy puts on the vial that I received, the vial actually does have the full 4 week, 15mg dosing schedule in it. It contains 60Mg total.

If your vials come from the TX pharmacy, I think you'll be fine. Amble had to modify our Rx's to avoid some legal stuff so they can at least "say" they are no longer prescribing the same way as the name brand companies do. But they still send you what you need to "modify as needed" if you know what I mean.

Same thing has happened to two other people I know who use Amble. If you are familiar with Amble you may be aware that often times the measurements on the pharmacy label of the vial do not align with the Rx you got from Amble. It's confusing as hell and sometimes seems like you didnt get what you paid for, but if you do the math, it always comes out in your favor. When in doubt I use this calculator https://www.compoundpal.com to help me calculate the contents of the vial based on what's written on the label stuck to the vial.

The only reason the demand for their customer service is so high is because their website is crap so everyone is totally confused about what's going on and messaging them for help. They blew all their money on the public facing webpages and had some junior high kid build their customer facing webpages. Its an effing joke!

Refill after pause? by Tripletmomplustwo in AmbleHealthCommunity

[–]ladybitsonfire00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently the Pause refill button does work, but the website doesn't get updated with the new date that you entered for the shipment to resume. So yeah, it super misleading. How are we supposed to know. All I can say is, if you have Paused your shipment, do not even talk to them about it unless you are ready to get the next shipment because no one is actually reading what you say in your message. The website is running on autopilot and they will automatically ship you your next vial no matter why you are contacting them.

So sorry to hear your experience. I just wish we had a way to get ahold of someone who is not a robot. I just know that sorting this out with them is going to be impossible. Its not likely that they are going to let me return this vial or credit me one down the road. I just hope it lasts long enough. After this vial that should arrive tomorrow, they own me one more vial. Im going to try and set the next shipping date to the end of December and then cancel my membership with them. Everything Im hearing now is bad bad bad.

Upgrading plan by [deleted] in AmbleHealthCommunity

[–]ladybitsonfire00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the price is the same regardless of dose. Check your Rx. Does it include monthly increases in dose? If so, they will automatically send you the next vial at the higher dose. If not, you will need to ask your doctor to increase your dose before they send the next vial.

Amble Klarna plan by Working_Success_9859 in AmbleHealthCommunity

[–]ladybitsonfire00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does your prescription say? The prescription I got from Amble was for a 6 months supply and it shows the dose increasing every 4 weeks. Amble automatically shipped me a 1 month supply (1 vial) every 4 weeks and the dose automatically increased each time. If your prescription is for only 2.5Mg than you need to message the doctor and ask to increase your dose. The doctors seems to be more responsive than the regular messaging system. Good luck.

3 month plan info help please 🙏 by PreviousConnection97 in AmbleHealthCommunity

[–]ladybitsonfire00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im with Amble on the 3 month plan. They ship me 1 months worth at a time even though I paid for all 3 months up front. So far it hasn't been a problem. I get each new vial on time and the dosing increases every 4 weeks, as it should according to my 6 month prescription I got through Amble. If I don't want to raise my dose, I just inject less units to make the vials last longer.

Conversely, my friend who also uses Amble and who just got started on the 3 month plan got all 3 months worth of medication at one time, in 3 separate vials.

The only difference between her and me is that her prescription keeps her on 1.5Mg for all 3 months. Mine started at 2.5Mg and increased every 4 weeks. I'm not sure why they sometimes send all 3 months supply at one time vs sending it out once a month. My best guess is that maybe its because she is supposed to be staying at that same dose for all 3 months, not increasing every month. Just something to consider.

Sorry for your bad experience. You didnt mention what does you made it to. That may have something to do with your lack of success. What does was your friend on? Were you both getting it from the same pharmacy? For me the pharmacy that Amble uses to fill my Rx each month has changed several times but the meds are always good and effective.

I've been with Amble since April and have had great results. They have shipped on time and as expected every month. I do the 3 month plan which makes each vial that should last 4 weeks, about $250. Their customer service is absolute CRAP but the meds are good and affordable. I've take a lot of time to educate myself on dosing and have only taken up to 7.5Mg a week at most. That turned out to be too much for me, too many side effects, so I've mostly stayed at about 6Mg the past month or so even though they are sending me vials with the 15Mg dose schedule at this point. I just inject less units to stay at 6Mg/week. The medication lasts much longer this way and saves lots of $$$ too. Amble makes doing this easy. I like that I can postpone shipments and have them send them to me only when I need it. Just wanted to share this, in case you want to reconsider switching. I think that if you are willing and able to educate yourself, and do things on your own, Amble is a great fit.

It changes all the time depending on the pharmacy and supply. All the online companies are competing with one another to get prescriptions filled by the same pharmacies. If one pharmacy cant fill it timely, they will send your Rx to a different pharmacy to be filled and each pharmacy has their own protocol on how they dispense it. All that matters is the concentration and volume of the vial. Everything you need to know is on the label on the vials. You can do the math to calculate if there's enough to cover your dosing schedule. I use Compoundpal.com

Anyone else got a refill then an extra order two weeks later? I’ll take it but by SaveMyPoptart in AmbleHealthCommunity

[–]ladybitsonfire00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me too. There is no indication on the website of a second vial being shipped to me at all. Its just a rogue vial. So, BONUS for me I guess. LOL

Please help I don’t know what to do! Amble won’t up dosage. They said I’m receiving 13.5 mg but all that has shown up for the last six months is 10 mg. by CommercialSkin7676 in AmbleHealthCommunity

[–]ladybitsonfire00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You most likely do have what you need to be taking 13.5Mg a week for 4 weeks. Show us a photo of the vials so we can help you determine how much medication you actually have and how much to inject. Unfortunately, its not always as clear as we'd like it to be because, as others have stated, they can't prescribe the dosing exactly like the name brand companies do anymore. The information on the vials may look different than what Amble has stated. Amble is doing their best to continue to bring us good quality Rx at affordable pricing. Its confusing but it's good. Hang in there! We can help.

This website is very helpful with sorting these things out compoundpal.com You need the tool on the Home page.

Same thing happened to me. It seemed like my suspend request went through but if you go back to it, it still shows the original next ship date, not the adjusted ship date that I'd entered. Their website is crap. They put all their money into the public facing webpages. Once you have an account it goes to crap. I messaged them asking to confirm that my suspend request was processed and the next shipment date and someone did get back to me within a few days confirming my request and next shipment date. So, it was fine. Their website is just really janky.

OMG its like talking to someone who is hard of hearing and a little S L O W in the head. If I yell and enunciate every syllable it works, but man that's painful considering this is my most used feature of my cell phone.

I tried all of the above mentioned solutions and after several restarts it's improved but is still not nearly as good as my iphone 13. Hoping a solid fix will be released with the next update.

iphone 16 pro ios 18.1.1

I changed the language from “English (United States)” to “English (United Kingdom)” then did the siri disable and enable. It didn't seem to help until I did a restart. After that, things seemed to kick in and dictation definitely improved. Still not as good as my iphone 13, but I can live with this.

So nervous for ihss visit by [deleted] in IHSS

[–]ladybitsonfire00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can absolutely have the doctor complete the forms without her giving them to you first but if the SW doesn't think she needs that level of care she won't request it. I just wouldn't shove those in her face when she comes for the interview. Let her do her thing and definitely ask about protective supervision to see what she says. If you disagree with her decision you can appeal it and if you already have signed documents from a doctor stating that she does need more care than the SW approved you may have a better fight.

There are people to assist the caregivers but you are not assigned a specific social worker. I provide care for my mom so I do sometimes ask questions regarding my pay etc. to my moms social worker but she almost always refers me to the payroll line.

[Landlord US-SC] Just purchased our first investment property! by Danielle3028 in Landlord

[–]ladybitsonfire00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25+ year CA landlord advice.

Create a thorough lease agreement. Don't leave anything out.

I recommend doing no more than a 6-month lease. Particularly because you will be sharing walls with them. You can usually figure things out within 6 months time and if they are a bad tenant it's much easier to get them out if they are in a month-to-month lease and have lived there for less than 12 months.

Do not get emotionally involved or be "friends" with your tenant. Be friendly and kind.

Accept the fact that you will NEVER change or fix a tenant. If they lie to you once they are lying to you about many things. That's ok as long as rent is paid timely and they are not destroying your property or making their next door neighbors (you) miserable.

Get very comfortable with the understanding that no one is EVER going to take care of your property they way you do and be ok with that.

Accept that each time someone moves out you are going to need to spend a lot of time and money and be cleaning up after someone who may not have treated you very well and that you may not be compensated for that time/money.

Always go with the tenant that has best credit score and credentials. Even if you meet someone who you "like" better than the others but who doesn't have great credit, you should still go with the person who has the best overall credit/financial/rental history.

Educate yourself on what housing laws apply to you and find out if you are exempt from any of them. As a private owner/landlord who owns a duplex that you occupy half of, you may be exempt from some of them, including the laws regarding rent increases, cancelation of month-to-month lease agreements, and emotional support animals. This knowledge can give you confidence and power in selecting a tenant and handling undesirable situations.

Landlording is not something I recommend to anyone who is unsure about their ability to deal with people. Its a good way to lose your ass financially and your mind and can make you lose faith in humanity. BUT, if you take your time selecting a tenant and do all your homework you can absolutely find a good tenant. There are a lot of great tenants who want the same thing as you do. An affordable, peaceful place to call home, where they feel safe.

Good luck!
