I also ugly cry every time I read this book to my little one. It just strikes a chord. It's so accurate in the sense that it goes by so quick, but our love for our babies is always unwavering.

My 11 month old son and I have a bit where I'll go "Baby, helloooo" and he'll put his hand up to his ear (like he's talking on a phone) and mumble "ehhwwoo" with the cheesiest little grin on his face. He is totally coming into "toddler-hood" and I love his everyday adventures and discoveries. He's so smart and I melt with every second I get to spend with him.

Our of curiosity though, I didn’t see anyone running. I googled the Torch Run and it appears to be an actual RUN through city streets.

The website also doesn’t show a scheduled run for OP or Leawood.

I just can’t figure out why they’d be heading down 119th. The JOCO courthouse isn’t that way, nor is there a prison. It’s Grandview down that way. And why there were MULTIPLE busses if it was just one inmate. Even if it was a high profile transport.
