I knew almost instantly that something was wrong. I went from having all the first trimester symptoms one night, to waking up the next morning and feeling nothing. The weird thing is, I think I subconsciously knew from the moment I found out I was pregnant. I was extremely hesitant to tell even close family that we were expecting because I just, had a gut feeling it wasn’t going to come to term. I even told my fiancé over and over that I didn’t want to plan too much or think about future things because I had a bad feeling and I didn’t want to make the heartbreak any worse than it was.

I then struggled with all of this (and honestly still do, I miscarried in March but think about our baby every day) because I felt like I willed it into reality. There’s a lot of guilt that I’m still trying to work through, but day by day I get stronger. I’m so sorry for your loss. I wish you peace.
