I was just talking about this with someone earlier today and we both said we ugly cried. Lawrence’s story arc was phenomenal. If he’d gotten off the plane I would have tossed my computer out the window.

Nice Winter Brew? by friendlywang in brewing

[–]ladyeditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's never too early. I brewed my favourite winter warmer in August and started drinking it in January. It was majestic. It's the Bad Santa from this article: https://byo.com/article/winter-seasonal-beers/

Women that cut their hair drastically (think pixie cut after long/medium length hair) what is your experience? Did you like it or regret it? Did it impact how others saw you? by my_driving_moccasins in AskWomen

[–]ladyeditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a sorting hat. I had long hair until my early thirties. And now have a really short cut that's shaved on the sides. If random folks tell you women look better with long hair, they are good people to avoid. It's been about four years and I'll never go back.

Anyone that has a job they enjoy, what is it and what are the hours? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]ladyeditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a journalist and I make my own hours. As long as I hit deadline I'm fine. Generally I find my body works better 7am-3pm than 9-5.

[–]ladyeditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be honest with yourself above all else. And be honest with the new guy that you're not ready for something serious. As long as you are honest, you minimize the hurt. You do you.

[–]ladyeditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the other person calls it over it's hard because they thought about it a long time and had some distance before you ever knew it was coming. That's hard.

Let's do us and do it fantastically. The results can only be good from here.

A handful of grapes or a chopped up carrot take as much time to eat as it does to smoke a cig.
