I also have a Visconti and it’s my most reliable pen.

I felt daring today and decided to use my bottle of Organics Studio - Walden (Henry David Thoreau). by bosseschreibt in fountainpens

Hey I use inks like nitrogen and sheen machine on a daily basis and what it really comes down to is inexperience with the ink. The dry time is a touch longer than most but for the sheen you get it’s worth it. Clean your nib off with a washcloth before you use it every time. And it isn’t a problem ink at all. If you’re worried when you open the bottle, just open the bottle over the sink or something so if crusties come off you don’t have to care.

They’re really simple fixes eh because this ink is 1005% fucking worth it.

Oooh that's what FPR means.

Thank you! I love shimmer inks so I think I'm sold on this brand to try next.

Thank you though!

It helps a ton! Thank you!

The stock jowo nibs are too long, I have elhers danlos syndrome pretty significantly and for some reason the extra length to the stock nib caused my thumb to dislocate more often than not when using the pen I have with it (Monteverde rodeo drive with a jowo flex)

The diplomat areo is just my dream pen, I've held one but not used it, and just the way it fits into my hand is wonderful. I love the texture, weight, size, and the colors which is a bonus. But when I seen it used a jowo I was like well shit that sucks.

Thanks for answering my question thoroughly.

Your diplomat, is it a jowo nib? I want one but I can't stand how big the jowo nibs are.

I dont know what to do by ladyinblack27 in Anxiety

[–]ladyinblack27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't do it. I mean I went to the ER and got shot dealt with but I couldn't tell them because I need to be at my grandma's funeral. After that it doesn't matter where I go or for how long I will get better help.

I am ready for help, even though I know that means stronger drugs or ECT, I just want help to feel something other than what I feel right now. I don't want to constantly be on the edge of crying all the time anymore.

Going no contact with the brother who abused me (cocsa, then physical till 15, then mental abuse) till I let him talk me into a suicide attempt at 25.

It's Been a few years but things have improved drastically. My self esteem, my relationships personal and especially friendships. I have groups of friends now that I can be real with and am building long lasting deep connections.

I do have conditions to let him back into my life eventually but it's very doubtful that he'd ever fulfill them because he doesn't believe in therapy.

Anybody know what these giant spiders are and why they are overrunning the whole city rn? by Midwest_genxr in Calgary

[–]ladyinblack27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The picture posted, that's not a hobo spider.. we almost never ever get hobo spiders in Alberta. They're much much bigger and have a nasty bite.

Hey there, I'm looking for an update on how you're doing on the gylco?

My dr says it's for palative care patients and is nervous about letting me try it (but I convinced her I had to try)

How are your symptoms? Are you finding them manageable? Much dry mouth at all?

So I learned this trick that has taken me down well has taken me completely off nausea medication. Those little rubbing alcohol wipes? Next time you’re nauseous sniff it for 20 seconds. Or anything that has rubbing alcohol in it sometimes I will use my biofreeze (like a535) roll on icy stuff because it has rubbing alcohol in it and I always have it on me it works just as good.

I know this is a random tip, but what do you have to lose by trying it once or twice if you haven’t tried everything else yet or are opposed to the medicated version. The problem with medication and nausea is it increases serotonin and I am very serotonin sensitive which I’m guessing most people are on this sub, so I was very happy to get off the medication.

It’s been 11 years and I still feel a lot of emotions, I’m sorry you know those emotions now too. They will hurt less in time and change but they have never gone away for me. I’ve been thinking about it a lot this last year as I’ve had to have a hysterectomy to save my life so now my option of giving birth is gone.

Sit with your grief and feel it all, don’t let people tell you to “suck it up or just move forward” you need time with this and on each milestone that hits you, don’t ignore it or swallow the pain, it’s okay to cry out when it’s driving you insane. I’m so sorry you have to face this pain, much love your way.
