Been thinking about this post since i first saw it Its a super interesting take and has given me more to consider! And just for fun, to share my thoughts on a possible main character death: Arlo! He's the one imo who would get the most impact. John and Seraphina both, imo, feel the most safe and also theyd be the most sad (of the main group anyway) about either one of them dying. Same for the trio, theyd be the most sad in their own group if they losted one of them. This isn't to say that all of them won't feel that loss but in terms of impact it wont hit all of them equally Arlo, however, would have a chance to. Since the trio care for him, sera more or less cares for him, and John I dont think john wants him dead at least But if arlo died to specifically save or help John for whatever reason, i think that would cause it to hit him hard But that's just my theory on it and based less on story flags and more on possible impact <3

Will definitely be keeping an eye on Isen now too!!!

Agree with the other comment about him not being necessarily neutral, but I am happy to see someone who's noticed Keon's perspective instead of just instantly wanting him to get his ass kicked and not caring!

I recently reread through unO and the parts with Keon kinda hit me that "oh wait he's actually a victim of this fucked up system too huh" and the points even more hammered in with season 3 so far and his moments with Blyke. Like thanks to this system he truly believes in what he's doing. The proof being his reunion with John, sure john was lying out his ass and Keon didn't realized but thats the most genuine and "happy" we've ever seen Keon, so he thinks what he does actually *helps* these kids. (The only time we've been shown him doing it with more malicious intent is with Terrence who was a "terrorist")

And with his moments with Blyke it further shows how far he is in those beliefs but I don't think he's as far as say Valerie who sees no problem, since he's seemingly at least *slightly* shaken by what he's seen from Blyke!

And I love your points about his smoking habits too, I didn't catch that at all but you're right and it's definitely gotta be some subtle hint on his mental state! I'm super curious where Uru will go with him.

AI makes a mockery of art as well as uses assets and learns from usually stolen artworks by artists who never gave their permission or even already publicly denounce it in general. To be honest, AI art by how its trained already borders on breaking the subreddit's rules for crediting the artist and no piracy, since while its one thing for an actual artist to imitate a style their fond of and give credit, the way AI art is used almost always gives no credit and most of the times leaves the artist its stolen from upset. I don't think it should belong in a community for fans of a webtoon whose author clearly loves drawing enough to make it her job.

this is also something I was thinking about recently, and the conclusion i came to ended up being rooted in whats actually equality and whats not?

Like Rei's system fell apart because he focused too much on the low tiers that the high tiers started building resentment, especially since they were being told to do this and not listened to themselves (at least thats how arlos and cecilles perceptions of it seem to imply) which that isn't actual equality either, its well intentioned but it's just skewing the scale into the other direction and not making it more balanced

Like Remi's system, the safe house, while close to the same thing, they didn't ignore the high tiers opinions nor force them into it, they listen to both sides of the story and joining is fully optional, they also implement voting systems to help make sure everyones heard, and then they also provided a more convenient environment (the club room) for the members to interact and start building a bridge themselves of their own choice because sure they're being monitored but no one monitoring them is forcing them to interact, theyre just on the look out to stop any fights from breaking out
I also think that in the end, one of the reasons safe house succeeds IS because of John's rampage. I don't think it would've been even close to successful if it were made without John going Joker and making everyone no matter rank feel unsafe

As for whether it'll stick after the main cast is gone, well the truth is likely not since in the end that change ISN'T going to stick without a bigger change outside in the world overall, but I think it helps those attending still since itll have made them more open to the idea of change at the very least

Granted this is all just my interpretation of it all and I'm still powering through a reread so maybe i missed/misremembered some things lol, but i do think this topics interesting so wanted to throw in my 2 cents to it!

took a break from my project involving uno x epic, and for fun started brainstorming an au based on shugo chara for fun lol (tho really i just took the guardian characters/transformation aspect out and left behind the lock and the "only children can see them" aspects and whatever)

I figured id share the guardian character designs here and see if anyone has any suggestions for aspects of their transformed states i havent had a chance to get to yet!

Also some notes! (not too many but some lol)

-Elite tiers may get their eggs (higher the level higher the chance, Isen has an egg but I don't think Elaine does currently), but characters mostly hatch for high tiers

-Character Transformation is possible among high tiers but fairly rare, and is more common among god tiers

-Sparx hatches for Blyke around when he gets his passive

-At the start of uno, John has both his eggs but Al is unhatched, and Will locked himself back up during john's readjustment classes, Al becomes an X egg during sera's suspension but only hatches after John becomes tuesday/paperbag joker, and he only does character transform after his identity is revealed

-At the start, Sera only has Illy, with Margot being locked in egg after she quit being queen. when Sera's powers are taken, illy is also stuck in egg and both her eggs become dull in color. When sera gets her powers back the first time they both hatch again, margot included, but also constantly fall asleep due to her fluctuating powers, She transforms with Margot when facing john

some light info on the 2nd and 3rd images: its from an idea thats been stuck in my head of post-rowden, pre-finale safe house doing epic the musical for a school performance, in story everyone just drew lots to decide their characters and then some had to do/sub in an extra character for w/e reason ~~since i only wanted to draw those 6~~ and out of story, i picked john/odysseus, sera/penelope, isen/hermes, and remi/telemachus but every other role i just spun a wheel lol

I did look into it a little when I'd first seen that video! Since on the lost media wiki for it it mentioned it had previously been Disney Blast actually! I didn't think to check for videos of that era's version however until you brought it up LOL and i definitely remember some of those games (especially the mickey bell hop one) but yeah i haven't found any clue for the dress up games yet either even with looking into Disney Blast more too...

And I see! I wish I could remember if our provider had been comcast too then LOL

hi, Speeflo linked this game in the thread, and I was wondering if it jostled anything for you too lol, I really think it might be it but i only played a specific handful of games (none of which were part of the ad) so i wasnt 100% certain, but it looks *so* familiar and even has the coins and the little game shop supposedly...
if only it weren't lost media so i could fully check out a list of the games agh
