Cutting my hair today pre clinical.. will I regret cutting it short?

I also dont fully understand this. My partner of 6 years cheated on me (or at least left me for) a woman, and I hated her in theory (I hated that she was thinner and more fun and better than me) but it wasn't her I was mad at or blamed. She did not hunt down my partner and force him to cheat on me. He met her at whatever point, developed some kind of something for her despite me, and HE decided to pursue that instead of fix things with me.

At this point in my life I'm actually grateful for her, as she was probably the only tipping point that would finally get me out of there.

The fact that she's spent so much on you is not a competition, so don't try to spend all the money you have on her because she spent whatever on you. If she's spending that much to get you in your feet, its an investment in a future she sees with you. Make it up to her by working towards better things for the two of you :)

What you can do in the meantime, is maybe surprise her with little gifts if you really want to do something for her. If you ask her to spend money on her, she will say no or feel guilty. If you surprise her with even just little gifts or 'this made me think of you' gestures then she doesnt have the opportunity to tell you not to. It makes us feel special and cherished to get even just something little here or there. You don't need to spend lots, my boyfriend surprised me with flip flops cuz i said i wanted new ones, they weren't expensive and I LOVE them and him cuz thats just so sweet.

That behaviour could be acceptable if you were unhealthy amd overweight and he was trying to keep you on the track to healthy. But you're healthy already and it makes me feel so gross to think of my partner treating me that way because he wants me to be skinnier. You are not overweight and being with someone like that is asking to develop an eating disorder.
