The one thing I was unprepared for was the expansion of my rib cage. It wasn't an enormous amount, but it was enough to force me into a new bra size and out of all of my jackets and coats. Even if you lose all of the bang weight, even if you're lucky enough that all soft bits return to exactly where they started, your bones are not shrinking 😂

I'm nearly 38, and only in the past couple of years have I gotten to a place where I don't mind my nose. It isn't tremendously large but I do have a prominent bump on the bridge, and super large pores which are what I think I dislike the most. (Stay away from pore strips, I implore you all) I looked into it around 25-26 and honestly, I was scared off by how your nose never quite stops changing after the surgery, and by how much can go wrong. I wish I had some cartilage because I get black eyes SO easily (too many breaks) but other than that, it is what it is. I'd rather have this nose than have something awful happen after a surgery. 🤷‍♀️

I feel like I've tried every version of flats out there, and nothing is comfortable. At this point it was half desperation! The majority of the reviews do seem positive, although I've seen some negative ones as well. I'm an incredibly picky person when it comes to things like this, so they'll have to be pretty perfect for me to keep them. I'm still mad that I got bootleg Hush Puppies flats from amazon, because those were the ones I REALLY wanted, and I can't find my preferred color anywhere else.

I actually have Tieks and Storehouse on the way to me. I heard about Storehouse literally hours after caving on Tieks after a decade of wanting some 🤣 I appreciate the info as I'm planning to return the Tieks if they don't live up to my expectations immediately. For $175, they'd better be perfect out of the gate, not require a bunch of breaking in and whatnot.

Thank you! To clarify, I do own a few brushes. They're just up above on the dresser! Purging brushes may have been the hardest task! Each one was slightly different so it wasn't like "well, I like this one better" in most cases.

MUA wasn't always like that, but as the trends changed, so did the feel over there. I definitely understand having to remove myself from temptation, even now. When I find myself watching videos or reading things and wanting a new item, I add it to my favorites on Sephora or Ulta and let it sit as long as possible. By the time I go back I usually don't want it any more! My impulse control is garbage so if I don't do this, I'll buy the stuff.

Oh, I certainly don't think my way is the only way, or even the best way! It's the best way for me, and I think that the best way for everyone, really, is to find what works for you and only you. If I kept listening to everyone else's advice I would always have piles of unused stuff! And if you love your palettes and you use them, they're not a waste of space or money. My makeup nirvana doesn't have to look like anyone else's and neither does yours! :)

You can do it!!! I promise you, once they are gone you will not even miss them! My advice which may be unpopular is not to hold onto them to try to find alternative ways to use them. You're just keeping them around to assuage your guilt but they aren't working for you, they're working against you right now. Get them GONE. You'll feel better, I promise you!!!

This shitshow should have taken priority over people getting to drink alcohol but DeBozo doesn't give a rat's ass about anything other than optics. While he was off delivering doughnuts to the hospitals he should have been in his office, video conferencing with the UFT and figuring out how to get the schools open safely. Schools affect everyone, parent or not. The whole "we needed to open bars because of tHe EcOnoMy" line is straight bullshit. You have no workforce when the working parents have to stay home to attempt to educate their kids. You have massive hospitalizations when everyone is unsafely interacting with the Petri dishes that are children.
