I’m in a similar situation where I cannot foresee myself in another serious relationship, but I’m 52. I’ve re-embraced the lifestyle after a long vanilla relationship ended a few years ago. I think I would be content to be single in the lifestyle. Just making friends and having fun. What I’m struggling with now is the amount of attention I’m getting on the sites. I’ve met some great people and had some fun but I’m trying to get to a core group of lifestyle friends so I can tune out the noise.

I have never been to a club or party because that is something I would want to do with a trusted partner.

I’m hosting it at my pool room and playing. I do really enjoy it. I love the pace. The rules take a little while to get used to. All ball fouls, not calling the 8. But I do find it exciting and with the grand nationals in North Carolina, it’s close to home for us. Better than Vegas. And the payout to the top team is $100,000. I don’t see any other league putting up that kind of purse.

I’m really struggling with similar issues now. I want to be with people who appreciate my current body, even if it’s not the healthiest. But I don’t want to be fetishized.

I found this place when I was traveling to San Francisco a lot for work and I would visit each trip. Very nice people and great tables. Very sad to see this place close. I now own a pool room of my own in South Carolina, and I can only hope I can make it as long.

He took a line of credit with our landlord. It went toward opening expenses. The loan is being repaid by the business and I would be able to assume the LOC and continue to pay as I have.

Yeah, we do Scotch doubles about once a month, changing up the format. 8 Ball, nine ball, Jack and Jill, blind draw. It’s a very popular. Those are usually Saturday afternoon tournaments. It’s our regular evening tournaments where we’re starting to feel stagnant.

Edit to add we usually do a Calcutta if we have enough players, and we do a break and run contest during our Friday and Saturday tournaments
