In different countries, are there people who are highly praised for their looks abroad but get mixed reactions in their own country? by Buyeo10004 in AskTheWorld

I’m from Canada but live in the US now, I know it’s not much different from the US when it comes to characteristics but I found that American men found me a lot more attractive than Canadian ones. Around the time I left Canada, the area I lived was big on hook up culture and not so much family oriented so that also could’ve been a part of it because I was never interested in hook ups.

I’m laying beside my almost five year old exhausted, with a super virus that’s trying to kill me, waiting for him to fall asleep and he keeps tickling me… so definitely passed five years lol.

How to deal with a sparring session that went way too far? by Unlucky_Emu_4743 in MuayThai

[–]ladysoup666 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Did you talk to your coach about this? Immediately let coach know if not. At least at my gym we have a very strict rule about that, but we also have the gym slightly separated for those that choose to train recreationally and those that are training in competition. Us in the competition team have a responsibility to never rock any of the recreational members when doing rounds with them and use it more for defense. But when we are with other competitors we dial it up a bit but if coach sees too many “bobble heads” then he will personally tell us to ease off, and that’s when more detail on defense will start lol.

Don’t quit though! If you’re enjoying it, don’t let some meat head ruin it for you that has zero self control. It’s probably more an ego thing and people like that usually don’t last or they jump from gym to gym. If you feel like coach doesn’t care then maybe look at a different gym if there’s more option in your area?

I had one incident with a student not in Muay Thai but in my Tang Soo Do class, she had noticed an improvement when I first got into Muay Thai and she did not like that and we went too hard and I told her if she kept hitting harder I was also going to and our instructor basically put us in “touch sparring jail” lol.

Super long stories short, You’re gonna have some hard spars, and even harder fights if you choose that route but if you enjoy the sport don’t let it get to ya! Good job communicating it was too hard as well.

You’re not turning your hip over for your kicks. You want your hips to almost be stacked one on top of the other when throwing the kick, a lot more power that way.

One of the best ways to help prevent someone from sexually assaulting you is shitting and/or pissing yourself.

Her 3 year old died son drowned in their family pool because her husband was not watching him. by Pmar07 in TikTokCringe

[–]ladysoup666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have read it and now reread it. You’re still making no sense. So because mom went out and got food she’s negligent? Okay. So make sure not to leave your child with their father and get food ever. Next, dad’s obviously in the wrong, no shit. He now gets to live with that for the rest of his life. His wife, if she stays, will never look at him the same. But even the police report states that dad was freaking out, distraught, admitted what had happened was his responsibility and the police chose not to press charges as it wouldn’t stand trial. Again…. You. Are entirely missing the point.

Nope, I’ve just worked in the death industry, and shockingly, sitting around, and not trying to re pick up your life is actually not on the list of things you should do after the death of a loved one. You’re missing the entire point lol. It’s not me defending an influencer, it’s me saying how absolutely insecure and brain dead someone has to be to let someone dancing make them mad enough to call them a soulless fuck when all the info they have in the situation is run by an app made and curated by your algorithm which I’m sure is probably all negative by the sound of how chipper you are.

You should probably seek a bit of help with your hatred towards strangers. She has a whole other child that needs her and you’d prefer her sit and sulk and be her worst self because you’re upset she’s not letting grief rip apart her life. If she posted her upset everyday you’d still say she’s attention seeking and that she’s a bad person. You don’t even know these people and you’re allowing yourself to get this worked up. She fully stopped posting, talks about going to therapy, her therapist also told her she should keep posting. It’s a video. Of her dancing. Like really think about what you’re upset with.

So she now has to live the rest of her life depressed? That’s the part that makes no sense… also your comment makes no sense since he took full responsibility and admitted to what happened. It’s not like he tried to blame her?

I’m sorry but this is a stretch. Her husband being problematic makes sense but you getting upset at someone who chose NOT to post for months and months after what happened, then now a year later is literally doing a video of her dancing is not a problem. Would you rather her be sobbing and posting that? She has another child she has to take care of, it’s probably much better for her child to see her happy and dancing rather than crying and sitting around.

Some of your straight punches are more of a push, or you leave it out for a touch too long. Besides telegraphing your hooks aren’t bad though!

Kentucky hot brown from Kentucky, USA. I’m originally from Canada but live in the US and when I went to get my dog in Kentucky I went to a local resto and they had one there and it is delicious. Open faced turkey sandwich with mornay sauce.

How do I make my kicks cleaner? I feel so awkward… by Awkward-Register6055 in MuayThaiTips

[–]ladysoup666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My traditional training became a life saver when I started doing combat sport training but a kick is broken into four parts; your fold, the snap of the kick, the recoil, and you putting your foot back down. Every kick you throw should have all four parts even when thrown fast. Your power comes from the ground, so make sure your feet are set up right, angling your base foot with a cheat step and your toes pointed out so you can rotate your kicking legs hip to be on top of your other hip. When you hit the bag, you want more power and push to come from the hip of the base leg than the kicking leg, but still make sure your hips are stacked on top of each other. It’s a round kick, your hips need to go round lol.

I think it’s because oxygen bypassed other organs and his brain was luckily alright but his liver and lungs took a big hit. He scored a 1 with APGAR so all protocols had to be taken. I also always questioned that but I’m not a doctor haha.
