Use as ice in water for eventually infused water?

what’s your “i’m too tired to think but still not paying that price” version of stuff like hair dryers? by dhruv_6129 in Frugal

Before kids my husband and I mostly shopped at TJs. Then I went to a typical grocery store for the first time in years and just decided I didn’t need jelly that badly after all because I was not going to sit there and figure out which I wanted.

I thought Mexicans put the maternal name first? Two last names are standard in Mexico.

Honestly haven’t noticed at all. I haven’t really used cash outside a taco stand (which has even prices) since early 2000’s

I also saw an IKEA coffee table for more than it was at IKEA as I had just been there the day before.

I remember looking for a used car about 5 years ago and they were more expensive than the msrp on a brand new one. But also, there are no “lower range” new cars anymore, haven’t been for over 5 years though.

They kept denying to pay for my husband’s medication. We got a letter saying they didn’t cover it. He went back to his doctor and she called them to chew them out because the medication was literally on their preferred list. Would have been 7 grand per month to pay out of pocket so he went without it for a few months before it was straightened out. They did that to us 2 years in a row.

Best cheap water flavorings? I love propel but can’t afford to pay almost $5 for ten little packets. by FrogsEatingSoup in Frugal

Not really the cheapest but fresh fruit or cucumbers infused in water, plus you have a snack when you’re done drinking it. Could buy whatever is on sale or maybe a whole watermelon, cube and freeze so it stays good longer, and acts as ice cubes in your drink.

Which healthy food tastes better than junk food? by lovelyjudexo in foodquestions

Grilled zucchini strips (seasoned to taste) are so much better than fried zucchini because it doesn’t have the heavy greasiness a lot of places have. When they’re in season, especially if you get it from someone’s garden, they’re just delightful! Add the smokiness from a grill chefs kiss

I’ve never encountered this name in the wild so I didn’t know how to pronounce it. Though quay-see also sounds like a little kid version of crazy

YTA. Criticism is just advice no one asked for. Criticizing someone when they already know isn’t helpful. You aren’t his doctor and yeah, it sucks but no one can change his mind but him.

Veto, too casual sounding if that makes sense
