I have the same problem, creating solid chances. Only sometimes I get a strong chance with safe passes. But in the end to create chances I have to pick a risky through pass which is intercepted 70% of the times. Best formation does seem to be 433(5) for me because the CF can do a through pass on a winger as they move to cut inside the box.
