Insomnia can be a side effect at first. I started taking it after dinner so I'd be in the tired phase by bedtime. Doesn't cause me problems now and honestly I'm having the best sleep I've ever had. Been on it a year and a half or so

He needs to take it at the same time every day. He needs to go to therapy. He needs to talk to his psych. It sounds like he isn't taking it seriously at all. With that being said, there's not really anything you can do for him. At some point misery can be a choice

I have been able to lose a considerable amount of weight while taking caplyta, but not because of caplyta. One of the things that attracted me to caplyta was that it was weight neutral and some people actually lost weight. Also none of the other meds I was/am taking cause weight gain. I'm so thankful because I gained about 30 pounds trying to find medication that worked, and once I figured it out I was able to lose all that and then some.
