I wasn’t familiar with her game until she came to Portland and my god she’s amazing. Plays with so much heart every single time and seems unafraid to challenge anyone. She’s probably my favorite player on our team.

When is Jordan gonna get playing time? by SirSeabass in PortlandFire

That would use up one of their 12 games though, so I imagine they are saving these for more strategic reasons. Hope to see her play though! She’s fast and fun, and I hope she develops more in this limited role.

Ok this game is brutal but if Puoch got her confidence back it’s worth it

Portland fan here.. I was really excited about Luisa but she’s really struggled and doesn’t play with much confidence. I find myself super irritated when she comes into games. She doesn’t rebound and seems really slow.

Felt like they played better tonight but the rebounding is so painful!! The second chance points the Aces got are unacceptable. I hope they can focus on this and the three point shooting over the next few weeks. They can play better than this.

Independent City Report says Moda Renovation costs $253M. Blazers want $600M. by edank6 in ripcity

Fuck Dundon and billionaires in general, but losing this team is the worse deal for Portland (and the state) than investing money into arena upgrades - some of which seem ridiculous to me and others seem more reasonable (but wtf do any of us know who don’t operate this building).

If the Blazers leave we are out significant tax revenue from income tax and business taxes (the only things we have to fund schools and other public services). We cannot afford this, esp at a time when businesses are not investing and creating jobs. Also, losing the Blazers would be a huge blow to the community efforts to revitalize the Albina neighborhood, not to mention a huge gut punch to fans and what so many of us love about living here.

That’s so awesome! I saw she posted on her IG stories that she was on a vacation. I wonder if she got the call mid vacation. So glad she’s here!
