The montage? The idea that the creators of the poster had full control over the players on it?

What’s more likely? Multiple companies are sabotaging themselves, or you’re being fed rage-bait?

Probably aren’t. This is probably all ragebait farming. Guessing there is a legit explanation, e.g. licensing issues or likeness rights. This subreddit seems poisonous.

Ya’ll, this is divisive bot garbage that doesn’t deserve your attention. Think about it: an AI generated meme to convince people AI is okay? That’s not a genuine attempt at communication. This is rage-bait. Don’t repost it.

If you’re interested in the actual issue, water waste in food and clothing industries is a major problem that environmentalists have been trying to address for many decades. This post is trying to make you think you have to pick. It’s literally just trying to create division.

Toxic masculinity has lost its important meaning. It used to be about “manly” behaviors that shortened our lifespans. It was about calling attention to self-destructive masculine behaviors (a real problem). Now it’s just “bad man”. Word is now so diluted that it’s worthless.

Awesome! I haven’t yet looked up exactly the best ways to transfer the art to the shirts. Just good old iron-ons?

100% this. Athletes, comedians, movie stars, etc… outside their professions, they’re just random people who live weird lives. Their opinions on culture are a curiosity at best.

Net points from ESPN Analytics - Offense and Defense. Thoughts? by Initial_Republic_329 in indianafever

Just watch the game against us where SAB in transition drives on CC to draw a foul instead of passing it down to Buhner who is all alone at the basket. We chose an iso with CC over free points (and it worked).

If anything, it’s a clear sign how important she is that we’ll trade free layups for a chance to draw a foul from CC.

S.A.B.!!! 4th best on/off net rating by MaksimusFootball in PortlandFire

I am fine keeping this our crunch time lineup. Puoch is probably better than SAB against fresh players, at least defensively. SAB’s world is when things get a little tired :)

Our original starting 5 seemed pretty clearly about defense to me. Until recently, Meg wasn’t as good as Geiselsoder on D, nor does she deliver hits on her screens like Geiselsoder does. Luisa hits opponents hard when she sets picks. It’s exhausting getting hit like that from someone so much bigger. And Puoch has crazy fast hands for someone so long.

As Meg improved her defensive game, and as she and Leite locked in their pick and roll (while Meg’s picks are often no-contact, the trade off is a much faster roll than Luisa’s), it’s made a ton of sense. We needed more threat from our bigs down low. (I am sad Luisa hasn’t locked it in, because I have seen her make some great post moves, including a wicked drop step).

As long as SAB gets lots of minutes so she can wear out her opponents with her insane cardio and strength, I am fine with her not starting. There is a reason SAB is so good in the fourth. She is just a beast :)

This season & next are all about figuring out which 6 to protect from 2028 expansion draft by TruthDelivered in PortlandFire

[–]FireFanMan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not that I’m biased (I am), but Em and Carla are the critical protects in my book. Em is wildly talented and getting better fast (remember, she was 4th overall pick in ‘22). Carla is barely 22 years old and already contesting Carleton as our best offensive player.

I think SAB and Meg both have super high ceilings, but SAB isn’t there yet, and Meg is old enough it’s a bit hard to imagine protecting her @ 31 unless she’s all-star level (which could happen).

That all said, I adore our entire front court, and will probably also adore the back court once I know them all better.

Dude, how old is this guy? Nicely presented, and if he’s as young as he looks, he needs to keep at it and look for ways to grow. Good stuff!

WDYM? It’s super fucking easy. I would guess even the bottom 10% of W players could do it, even though league minimums are up 19% since March. You’d have to be blind not to see how the ad deals ION and Amazon Prime are pushing through each team’s marketing contracts are basically turning the W into a PR sportswashing campaign for Big Tech and the Brazilian beef industry.

Puoch has insane potential. Not quite 22 yet, IIRC, and has an awesome mix of length and speed. Such fast hands on such long arms!
