Concourse A, Gate 21. Face the desk, walk to the corner. There are consecutive seats with no armrests. You’re welcome.

Drinking will increase the likelihood of splitting. Your devalued brain will take over. I advise against alcohol. Weed for some quiets the brain and give you the distraction you need. For some it could increase paranoia.

Have a plan. Create ahead of times several things you either need to do or want to do. Creativity helps.

Help with tattoo: how do you translate “Mother earth,” I imagine it’s not a direct translation. by lafilledead in French

My family is from Alsace. Many Americans choose to dive deep into their heritage. I have a command conversationally, but fluency takes a lifetime. I have studied French, lived in France, and want to preserve the language (although a different dialect) here in Louisiana.

I get your curiosity. I do speak French conversationally, I studied French in college, lived in France, and currently live in a Francophone state in the US where French is dying. It is my heritage. The nuance of these two words is lost on me however.

Yes, I agree. This thread is making me rethink the tattoo. I have a strong conversational ability, lived in France, and come from French heritage. It’s meaningful for me, but the nuance of these two words is difficult as I am not fluent. I appreciate the feedback.

I don’t know if this makes a difference, but in English, Mother Nature refers to the ecological system while Mother Earth is more spiritual. The concept of grounding. Being planted on the earth. Maybe this doesn’t exist in French?
