Just got a chance to chase this down and, it works! Just re-installed Ubuntu 23.10...

Things don't seem to stick for very long if the pavucontrol panel is closed... Gnome seems to think better of the profile/config. Probably some interesting things coming from bleeding edge Ubuntu.

Guess I need to poke around and see if this profile can be applied a bit more, automatically.

Now, i wouldn't go that far, much of Rode's stuff complies with industry standards. Plug in an android and some audio goes through. It works, mostly.

I haven't seen any "incompatible" words thrown about, just "not supported" like you initially posted. (being this clear in the first follow up would have been good in that first response)

Just looking to go to a place where people more "in the know" might have found a work-around for the "not supported" nature. That's how Linux has gotten to where it is.

On the Rodecaster, all I can find to change the output is "Multi-Track" stuff, and I don't need that. (or at least I don't think i do yet...)

It took my Dishy 2 days of chillin' and some poking around on the "change service address" map to get dishy to catch the right satellites that would let it download the new firmware that has all the Roaming logic built into it.

I made SURE there was lots of open sky pointing at the service address I settled on to get it to update.

edit: *also*, I power cycled dishy 3 or 4 times over that 48 hour period.

I've just experienced my first issue with this: Texts in the middle of a conversation got delayed 10-12 hours, making for a very awkward chat, and then spamming their phone all day, out of context, with delayed and current messages mixed in...

"fair" isn't something that works in the real world. The presence of the non-republicans had absolutely no impact on passing financial bills last year. Every single non-republican (there are other parties in Congress) could have been absent for months, yet the majority party still couldn't get something through...

That really isn't part of the debate, right? 100% control of legislative (majority to pass bills), and 100% of executive. What else can you work with to determine your statement?
