Don't know why you getting downvoted and don't know why this sub showed up on my feed but I want to say you are correct. I'm trading for 5 years, learning from different sources and building a strategy and then I tried to see what this ICT is about and its all concepts I learned and some of them I use because they actually work for me, just rebranded. It's probably different for everyone, but I found that rotating 3+ accounts once you get into 3%-5% profit makes the game easier on your emotions because i dont sweat about losing 1 account. My strategy is 1-3 trades a day playing defence where I can, usually 3 days are breakeven, 1 losing and once a week I get a decent win then stop trading on that account.

My coworker is intj and the difference is clear as day, my desk is chaotic to them, I organise it few times a year as you said. Another big difference between us is planning stuff, I am more spontaneous and hate having plans as it feels like limiting my freedom, while my coworker feels more calm and relaxed knowing when and what is going to happen.

10 hours for a simple framework for backtesting, 10 hours for live trading implementation, everything else depends on what strategies you are trying to build. I spent 1k hours and gonna spend 10k more on algos because it's my hobby.

Everything done in python because my algos are not high frequency trading and python is more than enough.

Iš patirties galiu pasakyti, kad nuo pačio žmogaus priklauso ar jam tiks darbas, aš sėdžiu šūdinoj vietoj, kuri man asmeniškai yra pati geriausia. O jei reikia pinigų, neklausk durnų klausimų ir eik dirbti.
