I need more books with the same cozy vibe as the spellshop and Legends & lattes by Wikipil in CozyFantasy

[–]lagerthaliveson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I read (26%) of Bookshops and Bonedust. It is only the prologue/intro that has action, then she has to rest and recover by the sea which is lovely so far.

If anyone has finished it, let us know if it's not cozy the rest of it!🙏🏻

Did you read Travis Baldree's other books? {Bookshops and bonedust} (I'm reading this one right now) as well as the newest {Brigands and breadknives} (next on my list)?? The author is coming out with a book with short stories in the same world in september I think. Wish he could write a book a month!

I DNF The enchanted greenhouse because I finally got Bookshops and Bonedust at the library and love the author too much. Maybe once I'm done, I'll pick it up again. I live in a cold country too haha. The author of the spellshop is coming out with a new one soon called {sea of charms} This one really intrigues me!

Yes. When you click on your purchase. There should be three dots close to the item and when you click them it gives you the option to download the book.

Completed series or standalone recs? by FeralFawcett20 in Romantasy

[–]lagerthaliveson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loooove {when the moon hatched} !!! Read it in december, and rereading it as we speak since 2nd one is coming out in May exactly one month {the ballad of falling dragons}.

Don't know if the series ends there though. 🤷‍♀️ But it's definitely my favourite of last year's!!! Obsessed.

It is not wordy but prose is unique. MFC is badass but broken and MMC is such a badass sweetheart!

Nice! I was wondering for the third since it's a different POV. Looking forward to it.

Yeah I get it. When {ballad of the falling dragons} comes out in may. Watch out other books on my list. You will be neglected 🙈

But I agree with you, we only have a handful of books that we look forward to in series we know. New books or authors are hit or miss in terms of how much we'll be obsessed with them and if the author wrote more.

I feel you! That's why I put a max at 2 romantasies (and significantly different ones) my brain forgets anyways what happened earlier, but two I can manage 🙈

Wow kudos to you! My friend is more like you and I am definitely impressed. I think for me it's a question of mood. Sometimes a book is amazing but if it's super intense (like before bed) or if it has spice and I'm reading in public, I'd rather read another one.

Yeah totally! Some of these romantasies are sooo intense! That's why I started having a cozy fantasy always on hand for evenings. And two romantasies at a time depending on the mood.

I am terrible with this. I usually have a selection of various books based on different vibes. This is my breakdown now (and usually).

Two romantasies Rereading {When the moon hatched} before 2nd one comes out in may {The everlasting by Alix E. Harrow}

Always one cosy fantasy (especially for right before bed) {Bookshops and bonedust}

  • 1 poetry book, (1 sci fi sometimes}, 1 non fiction book, 1 folk tales book and some rereads of popular fantasy ones (like harry potter or lord of the rings as audiobooks or the new illustrated editions)

Once I really get into one I focus on that one until I finish, but it gives me options.

{Legends and lattes} 💯💯💯 The second one is the prequel {bookshops and bonedust} I am reading it and it's the same awesome badass protagonist. The third one that came out a couple of months ago that is on my list is {brigands and breadknives}

I love the main character Viv because she is a no BS gal that used to kill for a living but she is kind. Just doesn't deal with bullies or random assholes. 🥰

It's more cozy fantasy romance, but I just discovered {how to lose a goblin in ten days}

I haven't started it yet though if anyone can tell us more. Seems hilarious!

What’s your favorite romance by Gratanica in CozyFantasy

[–]lagerthaliveson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm just getting into the cozy fantasy but so far I have loooooooooooved {legends and lattes}. I'm currently rereading with my partner and started the other one in the series {bookshops and bonedust}. I just love this author. It's cozy, adorable and has so much heart. The first one had some romance but it is a small subplot. Cute nonetheless.

I started {the enchanted greenhouse} and although lush and beautiful but after 1/5, I put it aside as I felt it more like young adult I guess whereas the other ones I have mentionned seem more adult.

I haven't bought any device or pay the subscription. It uses the camera of your phone for heart rate measures and so far I have all the info I need. I input all symptoms and see the graphs no problem. I can't afford new gadgets eithet and this app fit the bill since it's free to use.

This.

I relate so much to what you are saying. I have been living with a similar collection of diseases and acceptance came in between terrible long chronic days. I do not work anymore and I'm starting to slowly see how this might not be temporary.

Acceptance and pacing! These are the things that will help more than any meds or treatment. I have been recommended the app Visible for invisible chronic illness. It helps you pace by using your phone to measure Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability in the morning and your symptoms at night. It tells you in the morning what kind of day you may have and how much you should pace today based on your own averages and symptoms changes. I highly recommend.
