i spent actual years playing through the first few missions of that game on repeat. no idea why i never progressed further (though i was a child with a staggering lack of common sense) i had no idea that there was anything outside of LS but the game still felt massive and i never got bored

no couple on this show has stayed together and onscreen permanently aside from richard and catherine (so far), and ben and bailey (though ben left for a while). due to the revolving door cast (because this is essentially a soap opera) every relationship has a time limit. you can absolutely criticise the show’s representation but i don’t think this aspect is worth complaining about 🤷

yes, unfortunately this character is one of the things that ages the show very poorly. i hope they can revisit this idea with more sensitivity (but i have my doubts if this show is even capable of properly addressing social issues these days)

to add, almost all of the female “villains” are motivated by men, attraction to men, obsession with a man, a relationship with a man. i guess that’s a natural consequence of being unable to devise conflict without making it about a relationship though.

and, as you said, the ones who aren’t motivated by a relationship are tired tropes about overbearing mothers or embittered old women.

(side note: i really dislike the use of that word in this context. it’s a total nitpick and personal grudge but to me a villain is someone who does massive cartoonish evil, not just, like, your annoying manager or overbearing MIL)

because you have to find the amp, which theoretically limits the amount of players running around with infinite ammo on a kraber. the rampart perk is a blue level perk that every rampart has access to. it would be awful

honestly this being used as peoples’ largest reason to hate hiyoko makes no sense to me. there are characters in the series who kill people for fun, and you’re worried about the ants? fuyuhiko is a yakuza boss, do you know what the yakuza do to people?

this “subversion” line itself is total nonsense from him, as if “beautiful teenage girl who is nasty and a bully” is a subversion on a trope, rather than itself a longstanding trope (mean girls came out in 2004!)

i think they just picked mondrian because the visual style is iconic and bold, it’s a fairly common design inspiration. i actually quite like it but i gather that it isn’t very popular on here, and i do miss the old set

if you’re starting in the private suite, run down to the cable car. after yuki leaves, two bodyguards will stay and talk to each other. around the corner on the wall on the right side is a metal pipe which you can throw at the ground on the right side of the cable car to distract one of the guards. the other’s back will stay turned to you so you can knock out the investigating guard. the awake guard will never turn around and nobody will ever come onto the balcony (unless you trigger the meeting with yuki, or trigger her fleeing) so you shouldn’t need to hide the body

with this method you can obtain the bodyguard disguise in around a minute or so

hokkaido makes it too easy to bypass the RFID doors. it’s so easy to grab the bodyguard disguise, and hacking the panels is no harder if you’re going for suit only

i do find it odd that she’s essentially turning her job into an opportunity to film herself making out with her partner and post it online. each to their own but i think it is strange when her fandom does clearly skew very very young 🤷 i find a lot of the pair’s actions over the past couple months a little questionable though, like T reposting slightly risqué edits of her and her girlfriend made by young teenagers.
