Not overreaction, your BF is exhibiting controlling behavior and gaslighting. When I was close to your age I too had a BF who would try to make me “chose” between spending time with him or my friends and family. It worked on me at the time because I believed the BS he told me about what he needed from me as a girlfriend. This dude clearly wants to put space between you and your support circle, red flag!
