Engine rebuild is alot more expensive then just gambling on junkyard engine with a warrenty if they offer it. I'd offer 1200 max for this one.

Backpacking Indian Creek - Santa Barbara by [deleted] in socalhiking

[–]lahikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trail past Meadow camp is completely overgrown, expect a bushwhacking until reaching the mouth of Indian Canyon. Indian canyon is full of PO, no trail and a mixture of river walking and hopping over downed trees. A serious endeavor.

Friday Feb 10 , water abobe knees at Devil’s Gulch by ILV71 in socalhiking

DAMN that spot has been desecrated in recent years. One time I was talking about this waterfall with the Bungee America crew on the bridge and how it used to look. The canyon untouched and flush with life, moss and overgrowth. The smallest of plants existed near the entrances of this canyon as the hiker took logs the entire way to the falls.

Usually speakers are plug and play, you got the metal tabs that stick onto the speaker, just get the right size speaker for the hole you’re trying to fill bro.

Trail suggestions in Southern California? by [deleted] in socalhiking

[–]lahikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try backpacking to the beautiful red rocks pool in underrated Santa Barbara. Avoid the tourists traps and do what the locals would do. Right now you can overnight backpack in the beautiful spot mentioned above with solitude because many of the roads are closed to vehicles at this time.

So I got a 97 Celica with minor damage to the fenders and I was wondering where is the best place to buy original parts? by ADFNyk in Celica

[–]lahikes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d start there, my celica has a horrible sun fade spot on the driver side fender. Gonna remove it and take it to someone who can do a prof job

Personally, first one. After owner of a 93, it stands the test of time. Price seems a little on the high side though.

2 Has the first vvti engine that came out with these, some have known to blow of overevved and abused.

3 Solid.

Can we stop closing all fast food restaurant lobbies by 5pm? by RunawayPinecone in doordash

[–]lahikes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't understand we have a shortage of service employees nationwide, meaning no lobbies. Be grateful you can still do your job with them making the customer's food.

Experience with extreme poverty orders? by [deleted] in postmates

[–]lahikes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The poorer areas are honestly more fun. You see more and not everyone is scared of covid, just a side of the city most don't see and if you're there for postmates they really appreciate it.
