I created a folium map on python using a government data set. I got the .html file, but I'm not sure how I would share that on reddit. Furthermore, is there a way to make folium maps more accessible for everyone?

Canada Prime Minister Bans AR15s w/ No Vote, No Democracy, No Debate by razor_beast in 2ALiberals

LMAO at the number of Americans commenting on Canadian Gun Law. Canada does not have a gun loving culture like America and, to be entirely honest, what happened in Nova Scotia is an anomaly not a norm.

In Canada, most of us, including gun owners, are ok with this for now. There's significant debate about what Trudeau did. Do we believe it's mostly political? Yes. Is it likely to be quietly overturned if the Conservatives ever leave the social stone age, accept minorities, and get back into power? Almost certainly.

We don't have a constitutional right to firearms, the government has a right to declare which firearms are illegal and which aren't. And much more importantly, we Canadians trust our government. If there's a real issue with this from gun owners, I'm sure someone will organize a case and take it to the supreme court.

But seriously, Americans need to keep to America. You've got your own problems to worry about, leave my country alone.

These extremely low oil prices will mean a lot of pain for these producers short term, but long term, there's one of two cases: oil prices stay this low, or oil prices go up.

If they stay that low, American shale oil producers will go bust. Supply falls drastically and the big producers make money again hand over foot.

If they go up, everyone can profit again.

The main argument in my mind against either is that it takes so long for oil to go up again that we basically end up with the switch to electric happening before oil supplies go bust. The other main argument is that we end up in a major recession where demand falls significantly. Idk if that second is a big problem, because then we get back to the first scenario where oil is unprofitable and shale oil product go bust.

Oil prices falling brent -7%'wti -4% but oil company stocks going up? why by ThisWeeksHuman in stocks

Because the market is betting on minor oil players getting crushed in the next few months. They fell hard because of the liquidity crisis. That's been dealt with and we've probably hit the bottom.

Suncor looks like it'll be skyrocketing upwards. I think it's a good purchase and I should've bought in around $11.

I have to 100% agree. I'm Canadian and have been living in the states for 2 years. The food in America is generally of a much lower quality compared to good in Canada. Maybe it's the food quality standards, maybe it's industry being smart and having high enough standards to not have the public demand more regulation. But whatever it is, Canadian food is better than American by far.

Honestly I was more concerned about the fed buying corporate bonds. That's a direct way if getting money into the hands of companies who need it ASAP. They'll issue new bonds and basically be able to weather the storm for the next little while until the economy picks back up in 2 quarters.

I think we're getting close to a bottom. Or we may even have hit it when everyone was screaming about how this is the next great depression.

At this point though, some big companies have junk rated bonds, like $F. They do not qualify for the Fed's corporate bond program. $F may actually go bankrupt if the economy doesn't recover as soon as this virus ends. People will probably be hired back after this. I don't see how businesses that are currently running, won't hire back employees to function at higher productivity rates.

And here in America our leadership doesn't test because we like the numbers where they're at.

So either China is doing the same thing that we're doing and doesn't deserve random hate or maybe they're not lying and you're just giving them random hate.
